Mobile App Redemption Code

Hey guys, Im getting around to installing my jb4 with mobile connect kit and went to download the app. I was under the impression we get a redemption code with purchase but I don't see it in my package or any order/email confirmations. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thx

@BurgerMotorsports - Please consider making that more clear on the website as added cost. I would have purchased anyway I suppose but I figured the app was free and would only function or be useful with the hardware...I never went to download it until today and come to find out it's another $27. Thx

JB4 mobile is $169. It's split between the adapter and the app as people who own multiple JB4 vehicles can save a little by only having to purchase the app once.

Thanks for the reply, Terry. I don't see anywhere on the site that the mobile connect is advertised as $169, at least not on the Kia JB4 page. It's listed as $140 with zero mention of additional cost necessary to run the hardware. I'll buy it because I'm here now and don't really have a choice i guess lol. Just thought maybe it might be a good idea to be more transparent about that part for others. I can't believe I'm the only one to get it all installed and then go to download the app and...what? More $?

Its kind of like if you were to buy a home inkjet printer and then go to connect it and then find out you need to purchase the printer driver separate? Not typical consumer expectation.

The pricing is what it is on that, I'll get with the webmaster to see why it's not more clear that the app has to be purchased separately on the Stinger page. You're welcome to return the JB4 mobile adapter for a full refund if you don't think it's worth the cost.

No biggie, it's not a lot of money. More of an FYI. I'm happy with everything else so far and look forward to getting the car out with it all loaded up this weekend. Thanks
