ATQ Subframe Collars

I’m going to disagree with most of what’s in that video. I had the collars installed today and while there is a difference it’s not a “oh wow that’s great” difference.

I have eibach springs, sways and sub frame braces. Each of those made dramatic differences. Say a 50% increase in overall handling. These are more like a 10% increase.

The front end feels tighter, not in a harsh way. Like the stock set up is made for comfort/GT and after the collars it’s a more sporty (not quite sports car) set up.

I don’t think it’s a bad buy for $200 but springs and sways should be first on someone’s list for suspension improvements. This is the cherry on the top.

I get the theory of these are the same as all other cars, but has anyone yet installed on their stinger and reviewed. I've had similar solutions on other cars with middling results.
Agree. This are big bolts with tons of torque and they ain't moving. I've pulled mine out to add chasis bracing.

Thanks for the review. So not aa noticeable improvement vs other suspensión mods? What sub Grand bracing are you using?

The bolt sizes don't matter. lol

They could be 5'' Thick,

What you're doing is you're filling the Gap left from manufacturing with the collars. All vehicles are assembled like this and in time it causes the car to ride rough.

I know it does sound silly to those who haven't installed collars on their cars. Years ago I thought the exact same thing as you and called BS that they do anything. So, I made a set and tested them myself. I was surprised that it benefited the car. Hence why they continue to be made for various platforms today.

We could all sit here and discuss it for days, argue about it etc. But its something you need to install to believe.

Witch braces did you get? All 3? Did you install the braces and sways at the same time?

Yeah all three. Sways and springs went in then a couple months later the braces went in.

Did the braces make a huge difference? I got spring and about to install sway bars.

Sway bars will make a noticeable difference when cornering.
Braces will beef up the chassis removing most of the flex, which allows for a noticeable improvement overall in the way the car drives.

Strut braces help up top.
Suspension bushings will vastly improve high speed handling characteristics
Beefed up endlinks will help with front end sway with aggressive driving and help with steering over rough roads.

Everything has a purpose and its pretty much universal results across all of the automotive platforms.

Not as big as Springs and Sways but the chassis flex was greatly reduced and the car felt flatter during cornering.

Awesome, really happy about this video! This guy describes it way better than I did but captures what I was trying to say! Congrats Tomi!

I get that these have an improvement but we are seeing first to market HUGE inflation here. Most of these for other platforms are around $100.

LEts be honest these are collars and bolts for $215.00 (promo price) When someone gets there hands on them let the community know what they are rated for you can take them to a local hardware shop and they can let us know what to get for around $50.00

Intro pricing was $172
Bolts are modified OEM bolts that cost $35 each at KIA.

If you want to home depot your Stinger though. Have at it haha
hahaha Home depot... nope but i have no issue letting Fastenal quote me the same "modified" (added additional thread length) oem bolts or "custom made" collars for a whole heck of alot less.
