• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

I like to look and read through the Herald-Sun Cars Guide every Friday, todays edition includes the ZB Holden Commodore on the cover, stating it's a car of Hidden Gems and Quiet Achievers that buyers Overlook.

The article inside states the ZB Commodore might be a case of right car, wrong badge, and with all the features your getting maximum car for mininum money. Yet if you buy before the end of the month Holden will give you a $2000 bonus on 2018 plate models.
The article ends with " The downside is that Commodore resale values are aweful, so plan on driving it into the ground. But, on the bright side. It also has a five year warranty..:laugh::laugh::rofl::rofl:

Fugly!

Not a Commodore no matter how they try to dress it up. Under powered and ugly looking front end. The only model worth looking at is the top of the line VXR and even then it doesn’t come close to the Stinger. I’d take a base model 300S Stinger over that Opel shitbox just for the Stinger engine. Holden is on the brink of death and a PR stunt in the paper won’t save them

Wonder how much Holden gave the journo & paper to place that unsolicited advertisement...lol.

Apparently there are literally holding yards still full of new 2017 builds that they cannot sell & will probably be sold to fleet & police.
They even had to halt production in Europe as they had too much stock.
The ZB has been on the road now for 12 months, I reckon I’ve seen no more than 10-15 in the wild....god in the old days of a new release you would see that many in a week.
I see more Stinger’s than ZB’s in the wild.

I know SA Police have taken them on but so far NSW Police haven’t. Their old commodores and falcons are being replaced with Hyundai Sonata and in some cases Santa Fe, or Kia Sorento. That’s non highway patrol of course. I agree they’re few and far between in the wild. I haven’t seen many either. The Holden dealerships around here still have some of the Australian built SSV in stock.

Really, your local Holden dealerships still have 2017 VFII Commodore SSVs, I was so close to buying that exact model, then the Stinger showed up , and I was hooked, the Stinger was fresh looking , V6TT engine power, reminded me in a way of my former VL Turbo I miss so much even 14 years on, similar I mean in power delivery, I love how you can cruise around almost like a non turbo six, then when you need it, wake up those twin turbos, the only other difference that i loved about the VL Garret Turbo was the whistle it made, unlike the Stinger...Uhhh...memories.:):)

Yep according to their website there’s a brand new 2017 SSV Redline at Tuggerah for $62,990. Gosford have a demo model for about $58,000 and a new one about the same as Tuggerah, and a new Motorsport for $83,000

Hahaha I call it as I see it. I’m thinking about going on the drive. Have they confirmed details yet? Last time I looked I think you posted you were waiting for them to get back to you.

Yep theyre trying to decide between meeting at Maccas Thornleigh or Mt.Colah. But the Peat ridge part hasn't changed, id assume you'd meet us there? Or are you coming down to meet the Sydney group?

If I go it won’t be all the way to Sydney. Peats Ridge is half hour ish away Sydney is double and then some depending on traffic.

Maybe at the Irish pub in the Hunter then?
