Good question, Is that something usually recommend by the manufacturer? I purchased the service package from the dealer, wondering if they cover that. Thanks for the info

The manual recommends a break in period of varying driving levels (i.e. don't drive just one speed). No mention of the oil change but it can't hurt plus oil is cheap!

I did the same thing; only it was when I hit my maximum allowed miles for a year - two months short. Good thing I bought out the lease early.

Gotta try for more. I was using the digital MPH display to test my attempts at cornering at speed. Then I read somewhere that on a 300' skid pad the Stinger pulled .93 G. And I had/have to try. That's partly what the Eibach rear sway bar is about!

and worst of all the warranty only covers you up to 60k Miles

If you bought new, the Powertrain warranty is 100K miles and 10 years, in your case you will finish that in a few months. So what’s the story on 2 transmission replacement? You must have a heck of a commute and do a lot of driving to do that many miles in a year. I something similar some years back when my daily commute was 100+ miles and I was doing a lot of trips to NY on the weekends. I was at 73K before the A4 developed issues, fun times.
