LAP3 Turbo Upgrade R&D Results

Oh yeah, forgot to ask: is that ECU permanently relocated to the top of the brace bar on a bracket to make more room, or was that just for quick access?

We needed the ECU out to get the BDM port sealed. It is installed back to its original location.

Curious what you're making on pump 93 without WMI on stock turbos and what peak boost for that tune would be. I'm not really ito running 20ish psi on the tiny stockers for the sake of like 10 more peak whp and more torque down low a RWD is gonna have trouble putting down anyway.

The most powerful Stinger GT in the world visited us again. 620WHP & 540WTQ was the highest number we hit during R&D process, and It's been performing perfectly where we finalized the mapping @ 593WHP & 548WTQ(601.8PS & 75.77kgm) keeping it conservative for the stock motor & internals. The customer came back to make a bit more power and left with 607WHP & 580WTQ. More importantly it picked up *additional 25-50 WHP & WTQ throughout the RPM!

Before the twin turbo upgrade, this particular vehicle was running LAP3 Pro-Tuner Map3, making 477WHP with stock turbos. Take a look at the powerband of our XT26 Turbo upgrade vs. the stock turbo. With our turbo upgrade & ECU tuning, the powerband is silky smooth. It also has superior torque curve over the stock turbos' powerband throughout the entire powerband, delivering superior drivability without any additional spool time or turbo lag. It simply outperformed the stock turbos in every way.

Are you guys going to be selling this as a package?

If you are referring to the tail going backwards, that's just a spike when you let off the throttle. Sometimes it gets a clean drop, sometimes it doesn't. Spikes are normally trimmed out if they record false peak HP/TQ values over the actual peak HP/TQ values. In this case, it didn't, so we didn't care to trim it out.

It’s normal as you’re going from WOT and then letting go, everything having to suddenly stop like throttle, afr having to suddenly regulate, etc

Have you looked at the rest of the dyno? Not sure why you’re hung up on that meaningless section. When you let off the gas, this can happen

No, I haven't looked at the rest of the dyno whatsoever at all. I can't even see the rest of the post or even any of the dyno numbers because of this meaningless section that completely blinds me from seeing anything else.

Yea, I'm used to seeing untrimmed spikes, looked funny that it was a loop like some sort of bad MS Paint drawing, lmao

I must say, I'm impressed with the factory drivetrain. 600 whp is a lot on stock internals, trans, and dif.

How fast is it!?!?!? Does it go on the road or just dyno? ;)

Agree we wont know if it blows up.....i dont think it has been tested for longevity but i personally dont want to find out ..I will keep my baby snails and 400 whp lol..... Maybe when i pay the car off lol
