If the mods just delete Tork's post that clears up 98% of the bullshit in the thread and lets the rest of us talk about the turbos.![]()
Terry wow I google up John Bushbaum scam and oh my god ... so many bad reviews and people that got screwed over ... don’t think all those people from those different forums are making all that up. I reccomend everyone to google John bushbaum scam and make your own mind for your self before doing anything ...warning there a lot of reading lol...it’s a bit scary to be honest ... but Terry how close you do you feel you are with Tunning for theses hybrid turbos ? My concern is will like race gas or wmi be required to be used ??If the mods just delete Tork's post that clears up 98% of the bullshit in the thread and lets the rest of us talk about the turbos.![]()
Lol ... we did lose some good information..Oh come on Terry dont start baiting him so he responds and you report it again.
Either way I hope @DaJackson reads the thread and segregates what I guess he feels is relevant info and doesnt just mass delete posts because we did lose a ton of info.

What he mean by the back end flash ?? So it is like an ecu tune and the JB4 ??I think he said he was close (in some of the posts that were deleted lol) but he cant get it to where it needs to be without a back end flash.

I beleive so. Similar to what lap3 is doing. What he mean by the back end flash ?? So it is like an ecu tune and the JB4 ??
So you will get ecu tune and use the jb4 as well ?? A combination of both?? And you months away from finishing ? What about the turbos will they be realesed for sale soon ??I have a lot of friends in the industry (been doing this a long time) and could tell you stories but it's not really my place. Anyway back to the turbos who knows. Could be 3 simple changes and we're running 125mph traps. Or could be months of struggle to get the most out of the turbos. I know what needs to be done and emailed specific directions FFP who is working with another shop to get the flash updated to what I asked for.
Hopefully some day HP Tuners, MHD, Cobb, or some larger flashing platform comes to the Stinger market and then we'd be happy to develop and post free unlocked JB4 back end flash maps intended for use with hybrids.

^^Great post. I just realized nobody has asked (that I have seen) how the fuel system is doing lol. Also, we should let these guys do what they’re doing. And be grateful. I know I sure as heck aren’t going to or know how to develop tuning and larger turbos.

Wow, that’s incredible. So in other words the wmi is not primarily for another power adder? I have always resisted it. I like to just use more Ethanol or high quality race gas. Although I remember when we started putting Coil on plug set ups on and we thought we were high tech. Maybe I’m just stuck in the past. Oh the joys of DI. Many positive and negatives. I remember when 12.0afr was really lean lol.I may have posted somewhere, but it's a challenge. Fuel pressure drops over 20psi without WMI. And over 23psi with a single nozzle if running E30. Not sure yet whether it's a low pressure issue or the common high pressure limitation. We're running it about as lean as we want to run it so short term plan is more WMI volume.
Ok I understand you will run ecu flash Tunning in hand with the JB4 ... is Tork doing the flash Tunning ?? Lol jk who is performing the flash Tunning ?The JB4 is a tuning tool that works with ANY flash mapping, stock or modified.
A simple way of explaining it that you might understand is it works best when you're only changing the power up or down around 50% from the flashed level. Beyond that and the techniques used to change the tuning run in to limitations. So the quick fix is to reset the flash tuning closer to the final power output so you can continue to use the JB4 to go +- 50% from there.
So in this case the stock tuning is around 330hp, and we want to make around 600hp, so we want to get the flash tuning up to around 450hp so the JB4 is still within range and can adjust the actual tuning between 300hp and 600hp.
e85 is not going to cut it at this power level with the current fuel system. We had to go to 109 and meth. So like Terry said, were going to up the jet size for now until were done with the fuel delivery project. That part of this project will be released when we're done. Sad, but this gets out of control easy around here. I think from now on I'll take that route.Wow, that’s incredible. So in other words the wmi is not primarily for another power adder?
