I am in So. Fl. looking for a Stinger is a lot harder then expected. The car is for my GF. We can't find one in any state so far that is red with the light interior or silver with the red interior. I have 2 dealers looking. All the interiors are black.

Is everyone happy with their Stinger? My GF currently drives a Prius and drives very cautiously (slow). When we test drove the Stingers I was surprised she liked the GT2 better power wise. Glad she did as that car is amazing loaded. I would prefer RWD but even one in AWD wouldn't be a deal killer. Being in Florida the black interior is a deal breaker. Just kind of odd no lighter interiors around. Can you factory order these like in the old days?

Welcome to the forums. I can’t help you with your search but I can tell you that it’s plenty hot where I live and I have the black interior. The air-con and ventilated seats take care of business super quick so it’s not been an issue for me.

Neither dealer offered to order one. Can this be done? If so problem solved. We aren't in a rush. I believe the 19's have gray but the lighter color will do just not black. The car will not be garaged kept for a while so it will be out in the sun for a good portion of the day hence not wanting black.

I live in Phx. The black isn’t hot with the ventilated seats.

Why not put a windshield sun shade in, and get the side windows tinted? Then those ventilated seats will have a lot less heat buildup to knock back.

I've heard of forum members ordering theirs exactly how they want, and then months later that special order arrives. Somebody's bound to chime in here sooner or later.

Obviously a dealer is reluctant to bother if he can talk you into buying from his inventory. But if you put money down, with the proviso that the car has to pass muster before you take possession, then the dealer knows you mean business. I can't imagine any good dealer denying a specially ordered car from a totally serious customer.

Ughhh right you are. Not sure how I messed this up. I swear one day it looked like the 2019 had a couple more color options but now I see they don't. I really like the red and it looks like it only comes in black. The silver can be had with a red interior. Well this is going to change things. I'm afraid if we wait too long we are going to get hit with the Prius battery replacement so i would like to get rid of ASAP. Maybe a remote start with black would work?

We must be on a different web site. I just checked all six GT/GT1/GT2 AWD/RWD combinations again, and black was the only available interior color for micro blue.

All I know is that's why I didnt buy a micro blue 2018 GT2 AWD. Didnt want the light grey. Every blue one they had at the dealership I went to were like that.

But info changes. In February, I read a few articles that said only 400 stingers would be yellow and only base GT. And I couldn't find any yellow GT2 AWD anywhere until after I bought my red one in September. The KIA site only showed Yellow in GT.

Now site says GT2 and GT.

In 2018 it came with gray interior, in 2019 it doesn't. That is why the website is showing differently now.
