Hey guys super happy with my stinger, I am planning to keep it as long as I can but max till 10 years/100k miles, just sharing what I am planning to do

Things I am planning to do (in that order) to my Stinger

1. Remove front license plate bracket. (Dropped the plan)

2. Put a Name plate on front (either my name or "Stinger")

3. All season mats (Ordered OEM but thinking about TuxMat now)

4. Install Remote start and CARGO TRAY SEATBACK

5. Put LED reverse lights

6. Install Paint protection package for front end and rocker

7. Stinger badge in rear, looks so sexy.

8. Ebiach Sway bars. (After 3 months, so I can feel the difference)

9. Window tint (when summer is close or with Paint protection package)

Things I am not planning to do
1. Intake, Tune: Too me it has more than enough power
2. Exhaust: It's loud enough for me, would have preferred quieter (Still love it though).
3. Front re badge: I want show off Kia badge.

Its from dealer, he had not install it till the time of delivery. So I have to get there later and get it installed. Have it on paper that dealer owes me that.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Update:

1. Dropped the plan of removing front bracket. Going to get a plate in silver or black with black or silver text on it.

2. TuxMat getting delivered on Tuesday. Got OEM already. Will decide which one to keep.

3. Dropped the car today to install:
a. Remote start (programming both key fobs to work with them)
b. CARGO TRAY SEATBACK (so it's a cargo mat which extends on back seats, carpeted on top with waterproof bottom)
c. Kia's Paint protection package (I have to pay $270ish which sounds pretty decent)

4. Received STINGER emblem but it had already came off of it's back paper. Ordering one again.

5. Received reverse LED lights. (Sylvania Zevo 921)

6. Still thinking about ceramic coating.

Pictures coming soon on Monday night.

I will be attaching a rear deck spoiler......just needs paint.

It is a liquid clear solution that once applied to the vehicles paintwork, and preferably done by a professional, dries up hard , and is like an exterior hard clear coat, protecting the paintwork from dirt, grime, bird droppings, and even takes most of the impact from stone chips and makes the car easier to wash as the water just slides off, i am still waiting to get my Stinger done.

where in Oz do you get it done ? how much does it cost and do you think it's definitely worth doing ?

You would get it done at an Auto Detailer, you would have to look up i guess ceramic coating melbourne or auto detailing melbourne or if you want local type in Geelong, it is definitely worth the money, would be minimum $750 if your lucky to find it that low to maybe $1000, maybe more depends on what you want done.

there is also a plastic sheathing of sorts that does the same thing, must be applied professionally...seen it up close......still in denial whether i need either.....I'm old school.

Highly recommended. If your Stinger's paint is in near new condition you might consider a DIY and save a heap of $$$. Lots of information on here about it if you do a search. Also Google as suggested by @DCBStingerGT...search "Ceramic Paint Protection" or "H9 Paint Protection"

Thanks, will do bit of research into it.

Just some advices on ceramic/glass coating and paint protection film.

Glass coating is a very thin, hard coating that is applied as liquid. It protects against minor scratching and other minor threats toward paint; it will not protect against the onslaught of chip-producing stones and debris. The coating has a very shiny finish once it's cured. It does not hide the imperfections and damages already done to the paint. All these mean that the preparation, underlying work to the paint finish must be done properly near or perfectly. It's called paint correction in the US and it's different from just mere "detailing". I recommend a professional (hopefully with a good case of OCD tendency) to do this because once it's applied and cured, the damages and imperfections will be sealed/encased.

PPF is a different animal. This is a tough, thick (compared to glass coating), flexible, and clear plastic film applied onto the paint. This film is tough enough to protect against chip-producing stones and debris. In some cases, it can protect against scraping. In my case, it is applied in a custom way (not using precut pieces) as in a sheet is cut and trimmed on the car without cutting into the paint (no large-scale plotter used, everything is by hand). While the coverage of glass coating is thorough, PPF is applied sparingly on highly-impacted areas such as front bumper. A standard partial coverage include full front bumper, partial hood, partial fenders, and mirrors. In my case, extra pieces applied on headlamps, roof A pillars, door B pillars, exterior door handle pockets (to resist scratches by nails), fuel filler door, top of rear bumper that meets the hatch (to resist scratches when removing/loading), and leading edges of rocker panels and rear bumper which also serve as protection against rubbing by the mud guards. I need to add another piece on the lowest edge of the hatch where my hand touches the paint when closing.

Both can be applied to the same vehicle; PPF is applied first but the areas to be covered need to have the paint surface cleaned (using clay bar) and more profound damages and imperfections mildly corrected so they don't show under the film. The film itself has a very shiny finish that, once installed, it will make the uncorrected paint surface looks dull and cloudy. Correction is then performed on the rest of the paint surface until it matches or exceeds the finish on the PPF; hopefully your paint correction specialist can turn the paint into a mirror-like surface that the color disappears when looking at a low angle. Paint correction and glass coating are not to be performed and applied on the PPF.

Cost wise, PPF is approximately 10x as expensive. Paint correction and glass coating combination costs between USD 500 to 800; to install PPF on the whole car is at least USD 5k. Cost of PPF escalates quickly with additional coverages; for example going from a standard partial coverage to full front coverage (full bumper, full hood, full fenders, and mirrors) roughly doubles the cost. These things are never cheap and I suggest having an OCD professional to perform the installation. Finding the right installer is half the battle.
