Any reviews of Eibach Sway Bars only?

Thanks for great pics! Hoist or ramps or other tools needed? I assume it's not as easy as just grabbing it with your bare hands once the bolt is removed.
Sorry, no offence but I do not offer “how to do” mechanical advice on situations like this, but I would add that I would just get my mechanic to do it if needed.

Yes and if they stuff it up they pay!
Also by giving mechanical advice to people who are not sure of what they are doing is leaving yourself open for legal action as you didn’t tell me to also do x,y,z & I got hurt, maimed or even killed because of you.

I thought it was only Americans who were paranoid about litigation?

Just so you know, I am an adult who can process helpful answers given on a forum and make my own educated decisions and risk assessment about who is appropriate to implement such. And no, there is zero legal liability involved in answering questions with factual responses. No one said crawl under your car propped on a wobbly jack and start sledge hammering things.

How about we keep the forum to questions, answers, reviews, and comments about content and leave the nanny-ing to ourselves?

You're wayyyy overthinking this haha

I was polite to you in my response to the question you asked me.
I’m entiltled to my opinions, my response that you are referring too was a generalised statement to another forum member, I don’t know you from Adam, nor do I know your mechanical aptitute or abilities so get off your grandstanding soapbox by attacking someone who makes a post or comment that you don’t agree with.

Everyone needs to stand back at look at this from a forum point of view. Just because one person doesnt wish to give advice thats their perogative. They have their concerns and thats THEIR choice.
You can like or not like it, but dont sling mud at the person for making that choice. When members start to go down this line it only drags the whole tone of the thread down. It also puts members off from returning so I suggest we all move on from here to avoid any further upsets or undue comments.

Okay but a guy is asking what tools he needs to drop a sway bar to someone who just performed the job on a car enthusiast forum... and the response is i can't help you because Im scared you'll sue me...give me a break you're in the wrong place.

Here are the instructions to install the rear bar direct from Eibach.

Hey buddy, if you took the time to read my posts on this subject it is clearly stated by me that I had my dealer fit these & as I politely stated in my response to the question “I would get my mechanic to do it”
So give me a break, put your PlayStation down & get your facts right before you chime in & attack me as well. You don’t know me or nothing about me but being judgemental on a subject you obviously no nothing about does not help your credibility.

I did take the time to read your posts and not one post from you in this thread says you had a "dealer" install it for you. You mentioned once you'd have your "mechanic do it" which most people will interpret as advice and not nesessarily how you had yours installed. You even posted photos that make it look like you installed it talking about the stiffness setting. In fact I was the only one that's offering install instructions so I'm not too concerned about my credibility haha

If you dont stop attacking each other i will lock thread

Update: I just purchased the Eibach rear sway bar. Assuming it arrives prior to the holidays I will be installing it over Christmas on my GT AWD with stock suspension using jack stands in my garage. I'll post a full review once done.

I plan on doing just the bars as well to keep the ride compliant for passengers. However, I had planned on setting it to hard on both... Interesting that soft is being used more often.

On a side note: why even refuse giving someone mechanical instruction on an anonymous forum? That just seems strange... The whole point of this place is that we talk to and help each other. How in the hell would he even go about suing someone he's never met and has no information on? No lawyer or even court is going to try and hunt down this anonymous user on a forum for small claims court, lol

Ugh...unfortunately the bar is backordered so I probably won't get it for a month...
