3.3TT Wagner Tuning intercooler

I was just about to post this :)

Looks awesome, looks like it will include the intake ducts as well.

I may risk sounding like an idiot, but what are the two ducts on the sides near the top. Are those for intakes? Would this makes the big mouth intakes obsolete? Would you even have room for them?

Correct, they do look similar in function to the big mouth ducts. I'd like to see an image with the bumper back on. It seems like their duct might be behind the bumper.

I’ve never thought of owning a FMIC, all I was planning was intakes, downpipes, catback. Not sure if I’d need one of these. But it does look pretty awesome

if that's all you're doing you don't need a new FMIC. If you decide to get a tune and you want to run some of the hotter maps, it would be a useful upgrade.

Looks good but I would prefer it in silver, show off that big ole FMIC haha

looks nice... lots of area on that bad boy.

Holy crap that is huge!!!!....Sure that thing won't suffer from heat soak.

Any additional info?

Its impressive for sure, thought I don't know how much internal airflow the top of the intercooler would actually get given the inlet and outlets are on the bottom of the tanks. I like that they include funnels for the intakes as well. How much? $2,500?

We are very excited to be one of the 1st to have these available.

We work very closely with Wagner Tuning as the NA Distributor is here in CA as are we, and we have been working with them for many years now on the Optima platform. We will be running an introductory group buy on these as well in the near future once we have an ETA on when the product will be ready for release.

Nice. Any idea on price? Also, have you heard of CX intercoolers? They offer an intercooler for the Stinger and it appears to be the most affordable one out.... but not by much.

No idea on pricing yet, but coming soon!

Stay far away from that brand IMHO. Just google them for reference. It is the most affordable one, as they use the cheapest components on the market and in almost every instance where I hear about them online in the community, there are major fitment issues and quality issues from the components being used.

I was holding out on the intercooler because of Wagner. I have seen their products on golf and audi's etc, they utilize every square inch to get more surface area and they are very creative in doing that. I like what I am seeing for the Stinger, looks very good but the price will be up there.

I just hope they make the piping as well.

Can't wait for the specs.

Count me in for the GB.

They have built in fins inside the end tanks to evenly distribute the air in the intercooler. These guys are very good, they have very good engineers and software when they design the intercooler, its all computer generated before it is built and then tested to make sure it works as it is suppose to.

My immediate two questions are, what is the dia for the inlet/outlet and if intercooler piping is included.

Update from facebook.

Inlet/outlet dia - 76mm (3inch)

Price - Euro 1,090 without piping

Piping will be optional.

But my SSR intakes!!

Any new updates on this intercooler? I heard an ETA of 4-1? Can anyone confirm? Who would be interested in doing a group buy with me in oeder to get a cheaper cost?

Count me in for the group buy. If you will communicate with them, please ask them if they will release the upgraded coldpipe and intake ducts at the sametime. Im in for all of them.
