How long is it supposed to take for the Stinger to become available in the middle of the U.S.? I am seeing reports of availability on both coasts, but searching from my home in Texas there is nothing a couple of states away.

One of my local dealers in DFW told me end of this month or early January.

My dealer in Shreveport, La, said around the middle of the month. So they are too far off from each other.

When I talked to the dealer last month, he insisted that it would be the start of this month. Yesterday, he said NLT the end of this month. It sounds like the dealers aren't precisely sure. I am glad to hear they are in Minnesota, though, because that means they are coming well in from the coast.

They've been in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois since last week. Finally test drove one on Saturday.
In fact 2 of the dealers here in Ohio have already told me they are expecting their second delivery of stingers the week of Christmas. So they are definitely in the midwest, surprised there aren't many to the south.

They just started arriving in the DC area, so I don't think the coasts-first theory is holding up. I've also noticed they are arriving at non-K900 dealerships, so I guess that theory was out the window too?

Could it be that the dealer without the K900 was good enough to have them but their customers never expressed any interest?

Dealerships in Dallas, Texas are getting them in around the 21st of December.

Atlanta has them, but my state (Alabama) does not yet. Maybe they're working inland.
Update: there is now one Stinger in Alabama from what I can see.
