Installed my wheels yesterday and I am very happy with the fitment. I wanted a little meat on my wheels rather than a thin lip so I went with 255's in the front and 295 in the rear. I took several measurements before buying them and decided to go with an aggressive offset in the rear with 295's and thankfully they fit perfectly, the front's I got +42 but they rubbed on the strut, with a 3mm spacer they cleared but it was too close to be safe, so I ended up with a 5mm spacer. My dealer sourced the wheels/tires from "Get Your Wheels", they did a good job and packaging was great, I recommend buying from them.

ACE Alloy - AFF02 Black Chrome

Front - 20x9 +37 - 255/35/20 - Firehawk Indy 500
Rear - 20x10.5 +50 - 295/30/20 - Firehawk Indy 500

Weight with tires,
Front - OEM 24.6kg - ACE 24.5kg
Rear - OEM 25.7kg - ACE 26.6kg

Car is much more stable and handles better with very minor increase in road noise, ride comfort is almost the same as well.

Nice look, I also like more meat on my wheels as well, I didn’t think you could get 295’s on the rear but you did, good job.

I took a risk but thankfully all worked out. I am having coilovers installed next week and the car should be lowered even more. Will update if any rubbing happens.

I think it looks lowered enough & it sits really nice, but hey, your car & if that’s what you want go for it. I look forward to your posts after this is done, in the meantime enjoy your ride.

So it can take 295 for rear tires. Did you get a chance to see if there was any more lateral space once the 295 was installed on the car?

Offset is key!

You pulled it off. Looks great!

There is more space to the strut to fit 305 but there is a chance it will rub the inner part of the fender. Someone will have to try and see.

Thanks

That looks awesome dude! Too bad they're heavier than stock though. I might copy your wheel specs / offsets and do 295s as well

Looks great! Glad everything worked out! I remember your set before we shipped it out.

Full forged VS Forged would take care of the weight.

Wheel vs Wheel the AFF02 are definitely lighter than OEM, the main weight adder in my case are the tires because they are much wider and taller than OEM. Value for money the ACE with the Firehawk Indy 500 which is surprisingly very good is hard to beat.

Maxton V2 lip and side skirts installed.

Maxton V2 lip and side skirts installed.
That front lip looks good, does it come in gloss or did you paint it, how is it fitted?

It comes in gloss black or carbon look and you can choose to add red or white stripe.

Maxton Design > Splitter Przedni V.2 KIA STINGER GT

It is fitted with 14 allen-key bolts with 10mm nuts and washers. It is pretty straight forward, would have been nice if it had the holes ready so you know where to fit the screws to make it easier but it doesn't. You have to basically measure and decide where to make the holes.

Side skirts uses 10 self tapping screws on each side, you are suppose to use glue also according to the instruction but I didn't. Again it doesn't come with the holes already done, so you have to measure and put marks as a guide before installing them so you know where to drill the self tapping screws.

So the lip is pre-drilled its just the drilling into the bumper you need to do right?

Thanks, it looks good, I have sent a message to the Maxton Design agent here in Sydney for a P & A.

Nice looking setup you got there! The new wheel/tire setup fills up the wheel well quite nicely, no need to drop it lower with that setup.

looks good brotha!!... Curious, are you tuned? If so..... does it hook up off the line better? Also, what is the ride and handling like now? I love off ramps!! I am curious how the Lateral- g pull on an off ramp is now??
