Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

I think the 98 is fine. That said maps 3 and 5 for me, aren't completely sorted out. Tried both at the track. While they have the potential to be faster(more boost) they fall flat 3/4 track. Loss of power temporarily and then back on. I logged this and sent it to bms. They had no explanation. I ran 93 plus 30% e85. I'd stick to map 2 until it gets sorted.
Ok, thanks. Will try both maps and share my experience

I thought that Terry had been saying that they were reaching the limits of the injectors when adding the 30% E85. This shouldn't be an issue with 98 / 100 octane fuel. The advice he's been giving other is to try it, log it, and share the logs with him.

I don't think his 98 is the same as ours.

@Kamauxx is right, I just looked it up, European 98 RON = US 93 Octane
@Przemek I take back my previous statement, I probably wouldn't go past map 2 with 98 RON. You could possibly try it with the 100 and report back.

Stinger killed at at NoFlyZone today. Will post some great videos later. :)

Not injectors, high pressure pump. Or low pressure pump. Still working on that. :)

It looks legit. Some octane boosters list the octane points they raise the rating which is a tenth of what you see at the pump. That product shows you both so you should be good to go with map 2. Map 3 is probably OK. Some would do it, some wouldn't. My first question is what is your plug situation.

The next thing to look at is what that stuff will do to your catalytic. I've read up a bit on Torco & Boostane. The thick orange film that gets on the plugs, exhaust pipes, etc. is pretty gnarly. They may say it's safe for catalytics but that's a lot of crud that's left behind.

Get some Toulene....and use it instead of those boost additives....i dont think that orange crap is good for the engine.....I posted some good info on Toulene...do a search....heck its already in the gas to start with....Wash

Some octane boosters consider a point as a tenth, too. So 3 points can mean 93.3 instead of 96 octane, just FYI.

I used toluene in some of my other cars. Use at your own risk. E85 as octane booster is much safer in my opinion ..E30 ftw

Man I wish comments weren't disabled on that video. Very curious what the Corvette community would have to say about it.

Very impressive. That Vette sounds mean. Was it stock?

Nice run and great kill against some very tough competition!

Thanks and didn’t realize the stock Z06 exhaust sounded so mean.

But wow. Even more impressive that a Stinger beat a tuned Z06 all the way to 150mph!

Keep up the good work Terry and keep these videos coming.

To be fair it sounded like a quadruple amputee was shifting that Z06
