Had a chance today to hit the dyno for a little fun. This time around with normal pump fuel but the BMS WMI kit activated running a single BM10 nozzle, 75% meth to water mix. Our Stinger is also equipped with a BMS prototype intake and BMS BOV kit.

Results were pretty impressive. I played around with some different boost, timing, and AFR levels, but power was pretty consistent in the 450-460range, best results came running a 75 additive on map8. Map8 allows adjustment of boost as a function of WMI flow with 0 being close to map1 performance levels and a 75 additive being close to map7 levels. The additive can be set up to 100 to exceed map7 levels. I tried some higher boost levels and while torque went up, peak power didn't improve much, and timing drops ticked up, so we're probably at an octane limit here. Next go around we'll have to test E30 + WMI.

Per usual we'll include the detailed datalog with our dyno, something the other Stinger tuners are afraid to do, because with the JB4 there is nothing to hide. With the JB4 you can always record look at your own data any time you want.

Is it more efficient to run the E30 mix or 110 on higher maps (without WMI)? I ask because I have 110 available at the pump, and most E85 vendors are on winter blend.

Also, is the spare tire kit available for purchase through your website yet? I don’t recall seeing it.

No right now it's just a prototype. Not sure on ETA for production, but the 2 gallon integrated tanks are in stock and shipping.

I can't wait to see what this does with real gas / E30. So impressive especially with all stock exhaust.

Man those are some good looking graphs. @Terry@BMS This thing is a torque monster.:sneaky:

I love that you are using SZ's facilities. Great guys to work with Seb and Greg. Very well known in the Z32 community.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
What are the full mods on this car?

The results are excellent, amazing progress.

Is this correct, from your datalog, does it take 3.5sec from when you floored it until the throttle actually fully opened? Im I reading it correctly?

You might be confusing how throttle is used in the application. At lower RPM the car will make full power at 40% throttle because the throttle is so oversized. When evaluating throttle position for unwanted closure you'd need to look at boost before and after the throttle (psi vs. psi2 in JB4 logs). Generally throttle is used to regulate boost if it goes over target, or if the target suddenly changes like during traction control intervention, etc. It has to close around 30-40% before it starts to drop manifold boost.

Good info, you learn things everyday.

Amazing! 531wtq is the most torque I’ve seen from any chip/tune period, and the fact it’s with stock exhaust is even more impressive.

If this car had a turbo-back exhaust or even full downpipes it would easily be over 500whp/575wtq!

I can’t wait to see what it will do on the e30+WMI:D

Terry, please install downpipes just to break all these 'records' that have been announced in the last few months :rofl:

Oh what a difference JB4 controlled WMI makes. Couple of logs from the NFZ half mile racing event Saturday. Mods are JB4, 30% E85, BMS intake. Map5 (no meth) vs. map8 (meth on, 70 additive). With BMS WMI 146mph, without only 139mph. Videos to follow. :)

Awesome to see the difference and 146mph 1/2m is very impressive.

Any dragy results for 0-60, or 1/4m with E30 and/or WMI?

So far around the same 1/4 mile on pump + WMI vs. E30, 12.3@117mph. But traction has been a big issue and these days I have to limit power dramatically in 1st. Have some new rims/tires on the way and hopefully will let the car break in to the 11s. :)

Did you get the drag radials?

Curious as well, looks like without them the AWD is becoming the faster layout. I’m definitely envious of the 2019 GT1 w/ LSD I drove vs the 18 w/o it I bought... I’m one wheel peeling wayyyy too much.

It's been a while since I've seen new RWD track or Dragy times posted. Maybe everyone's hibernating for winter.

The AWD cars are putting down slightly better times right now, but looking at the traps, the RWD will have the advantage once we can hook well. Isn't the platform record still 11.9 with a RWD?
