Updated 3D Dials

I prefer traditional analog dials but the ones in the Stinger look cheap and dated.

I did not know that

Nearly identical. Though to be fair the Optima probably got its design from another Kia vehicle. If I Google enough I could probably trace it back to a mid-2000s Kia/Hyundai mini-van.

Third pic is from a 2014 Forte.

Kia keeps it simple.

Not a fan of the '3D' style at all. Hopefully it will be an option instead of standard. :/

Some may some may not but I believe KIA will introduce eventually to move Stinger to a market norm.

With or without it its still a great car!

The Stinger will have something similar, it might not be the same as the one in the Genesis but it could be similar to the K900.

there are a lot of parts the Stinger shares with other cars, standard practice with every car manufacturer really. I can't imagine how much the Stinger would cost if every single part was unique to this model.

As for the gauge cluster, I like it. It's easy to read, in the right location, isn't distracting, has all the functions I would want, the only thing I wish it had was a shift indicator but this isn't a sports car so I wouldn't expect it to have one.

Well yes, of course. But that wasn't the point.

The point of that post was to say the reason the Stingers gauges look so "cheap and dated" to him is because they were designed more than 5 years ago for a $16k car.
