Rear sway bar - installation

Who performed the rear sway bar installation on your car?

I was watching the Tork video on the Eibach rear sway bar installation. For the most part everything looks pretty striaght forward except that one bolt hidden under the fuel lines. I wanted to get everyone's feedback on the installation. If you got the rear sway bar, did you install it yourself or did you pay someone else to do it.

If you did it yourself, did you require a lift to get to that one bolt? How hard was it to access that bolt?
If you paid someone else, how much did it cost?
 
Front & Rear SB’s being fitted by my dealer next week, I will confirm cost once it’s done, but my dealer quoted approx. 2hrs labour, could be more could be less, so total is approx. AU$260-$280.

Front sway install was super easy. Used ramps / didn't need to take the wheels off. I'll be doing the rear in the next week or so.

Mine is awd. I have not done the rear yet but do have the bar. Its supposed to be a bitch of an install. Install coming soon.

Waiting to how it goes. Seems like one bolt gives you all the pain.

Have a pic of your angled socket wrench? Without the right tools this install is impossible. With my standard rachet the normal socket was too shallow and the deep socket too deep. Plus i couldnt turn it.
Proably need a long handle as well?

Have a pic of your angled socket wrench? Without the right tools this install is impossible. With my standard rachet the normal socket was too shallow and the deep socket too deep. Plus i couldnt turn it.
Proably need a long handle as well?
This is exactly was I used on the drivers side. Passenger side was the same, just with a deep 14mm socket.

Got a new long handle swivel ratchet and slightly deeper 14 mm socket and was able to get the rear sway on today. Thanks for the tool tip!
Front sway is super easy, rear is doable with the right tools. (my quote for just the rear was $200)
Ultra bracing mid rear and rear helped bring the added chassis twist created by the sway bars back to stock level. So still flexy but not more flexy.

You have awd correct? How does it feel? I've been on fence about the sways curious how you feel turn in or handling changed for awds thanks

I've had the front sway on a few weeks and the rear just a few hours. If you don't mind 15-20 % firmer feeling at least on bumpy un even roads then go for it. Comfort feels like sport now. Turn in is much better, turning is flat. Way better all around. I still need to find a mid turn dip to test the rear end wallow.
Stock the rear sway is more of a helper spring than a sway bar. Mine and i suspect all stingers sway bars are locked to the bushing which isolates the sway from the other side making it just an additional spring. Even after removing the bolts the sway is still locked to the bushings.
The drawback is more chasis flex. Maybe this is why the stock sways were locked. I added 2 of the 3 ultra chasis braces and the chasis flex seems back to stock or a bit better than before the sway change.

Top is the mid rear bottom is the rear brace from ultra racing.
I didn't get the 3rd brace.
