I was told 2 separate times about a yellow book being 'ready for shipping' and 'shipping a week or 2'........

That was over 2 months ago, and still nothing...... Way to go Kia...... Make the yellow a royal PITA to get to begin with, and then just blow off doing what you said you would........

Maybe they're waiting to see how many yellow owners actually sign off on their respray and end up keeping the car before they mail the books out. Wouldn't that be sad if we ended up having Kia buy back our cars or swap them for other colors, THEN receive a book chock full of beautiful photos of the Sunset Yellow we no longer have!

Then you should likely get yours the next time they send out. They sold about 14,000 as of September, so you should be within that 15k Mark.

What does the book entail and does anyone have a picture of it? Would be cool for KIA to release a book that takes you from the concept, through to development, then production images from the factory and finished product, with interviews and insight from those who worked on the car, from the top dogs at KIA down through the teams doing the day to day work of all natures, be it concepting of how powerful to make the engines, which interiors, exteriors were discussed but didn't make the final cut, how the final designing & choosing of interior and exterior and their materials etc. took place and what challenges the teams had to overcome.. Would be an interesting read! At least i think so

Word from corporate is that the Yellow books for Limited Edition purchasers was Limited to the first 200 worldwide. I sent him the message from earlier in his thread and he is going back to marketing to ask about it. Not looking good.

But yellow was just a normal available color in Australia, so the ~50 sold there don't count towards the Limited Editions?

That was a question that I raised with him. He said that he was told that Yellows were sold elsewhere but some of the Yellows (400) were sold outside of the us as Limited Edition. We will see what they say when they respond.

Well it's not a set of headphones, but I made a phone call, and this is the first ''gift'' I EVER got from a car company.
