Nit that I’m advocating speeding but as you well know, it’s pretty easy to get going a little quick in these lol.
So I made it 1500kms until the first, how about you all?

i know it's coming..........0-75 without even pushing it..
(highway ramp) if it weren't for the brake lihgts up ahead I would a been a dead duck in a stinger.

Three warnings. Each cop liked my car, and my smiling face. No citations yet.

well 3 month and 12.000km later, I'm counting about 4-6 tickets already
but it's the stupid City I'm in doing constant Speedtraps aand it's Germany, you are supposed to do 20 over Speed Limit. A ticket than cost about 20-30€, no big deal

Currently after 12,600kms no tickets touch wood, but I believe it’s due to the fact our police commodores & falcons can’t catch me....lol

Zero tickets so far. Fuzz buster chirping reminds me that my young and dumb, life in the fast lane days are still simmering, and to keep the hot plate on low.

I got one the second day I owned my Stinger. Less than 300 Miles on the car. I went to pass a slower moving car, barely hit the gas and she took off faster than I expected, faster than my 2014 Turbo SX Optima ever did. Clocked at 51 in a 30.
It was my first speeding ticket in my driving history too.

worst speeding ticket (for me) was 88 in a 35.......told the police my gf's sister was alone at the carnival and she has a phobia about clowns........kept me from going to jail, but the ticket was over 200 bucks.

Keep 'em coming. These are a laugh! :D

Got my ticket in first 6 months. I sort of think of them as an occupational hazard - seem to get them every 2 or 3 years.

Luckily in the UK if you are not too far above the limit you get the option of 'naughty school' (3 hours driver awareness training). Having been on 4 or 5 of these courses I knew the answer to all of the questions - was sure I had met one of the police officers before!

Worst for me was in my 'yoof' in an Impreza overtaking a police car at 120mph - got me an invitation to meet the local magistrates to explain myself. Even now the fine makes me wince.

I've mentioned this elsewhere: my third warning in the Stinger was for passing a cop in Big Cottonwood canyon. He was doing the limit and so I had to be exceeding in order to pass, which I did with alacrity (the Stinger's forté to be sure!). The moment I nipped back in front of the SUV, my brother (riding shotgun) said, "That was a cop!" He grinned in disbelief. I looked in the rearview mirror and that instant the red and blue lights started whirling. I wasted no time getting over and stopping. The cop was in a good mood and said, "You never pass a cop." He said it twice. I have taken it to heart. But I didn't even notice the SUV was a cop: the light bar on top looked like a luggage rack or similar. The spare tire on the hatch door deprived the rear of any noticeable lettering, and of course once I was passing I wasn't scoping out the side of the SUV! So, I'll probably get caught passing SUV cops again sometime. I'll try really hard to notice details of the vehicles ahead so that I see cops. But once I am in a "zippy" mood, I tend to focus on driving and not on collecting details of the vehicles around me.

No ticket yet, but it'll be coming. As has been said, it's so easy to get these things going above that pesky speed limit. Usually the first way I find out I'm going too fast is when I look in my review and see the cars that were behind me... becoming dots.

Didn't want to pay for "Mr. Loophole" to get you out of it?

Driving my 2.0 like it is a v-6 will get me nabbed one of these days.....hell the 2006.5 optima I had got me 2 warnings...from the same town..........course that was a v-6.

Too bad it's not built into the HUD! I love the Stinger's NAV... by far the best NAV of any prior car I've owned/leased.
I'm not that familiar with Waze, so I'm guessing people report speed traps? I can see that, but not sure how it would work for moving LAPD or CHP here in Los Angeles. Enlighten me!
