Like the title said, I'm sure the stingers get dropped off for service if anyone here has common work hours. I have left mine over night for service and will have to often. This is to avoid going past my service intervals as my job dosn't give days off or reliable ones at that.
I have rented (with 100 from me and 35 bucks provided by the dealer) a 430i BMW only because I wanted a sports car while I waited for the stinger to get back.
2016 or 17 BMW 430i drop top with the twin turbo engine. Needless to say I was disappointed in the BMW. That car is slower, less equipped, more expensive, and gets worse mpg's how I drove. That all being said, and I need to say I am not a fan or plan on owning a BMW, the car handled so much better than my stinger does around the twisties.
If someone wants to tell me it is because the stinger is a gt car.... well maybe I have a false expectation of gt cars.
Now to ramble... I will be stiffening the suspension when I can to gain a better feel for the road. But back to this thread.

I am curious as to what you guess have got as a rental car while waiting for or in lieu of your stinger.

When my car went back to the dealer for the protection package a few days after purchase, I got a red Stinger Limited, identical in every way to mine. They ended up keeping my car for 9 days, but I had no problem with that, as I was basically putting miles on their car that was already broken in (it was their designated test drive car), so I could have a little more fun it it than I would have had in my own.

Yah lucky devil

When my Sunset Yellow went in, and I left for work for three weeks... I came back and got a Camry. Was home for two weeks and got sent back to work for a few days or a month. Turns out the “rental” I had from the body shop was only good for 30 days. So I had to drive 45 minutes in one direction to drop of the rental loaner and get dealer loaner since I might be gone over the 30 days and would have to pay out of my pocket.. was already at about 15-20 days. So I got a soul, just to drive home, throw my bags in, drive a hour In the opposite direction and park at an airport parking lot for who knows how long... love my job, miss my Stinger.

My Sunset Yellow has been in the shop since Aug 6 and have been driving a White Pearl Stinger (Premium) since. I'm sure I will be driving in for a lil longer!!!

Wish I got a car that was somewhat similar... but haven’t been home for more than a couple weeks since it’s been in the shop.

I dropped my Sunset Yellow off for the respray a week ago and the dealership had an Enterprise on-site so instead of another Kia I got a Ford Fusion Hybrid. It's got about a third the torque of the Stinger but it's interesting driving something so quiet and it's better than the Prius I rented once.

I’ve been driving a 2018 Ford Focus SE rental for a month while my Stinger is getting right side doors from collision damage. It is surprisingly nicely equipped for a rental, but is no fun. Plus I remember why I don’t miss dual clutch transmissions in slow stop and go traffic. I’ve been driving it for a month now due to some issues getting a door and now paint (ceramic silver) match issues. Getting the Stinger back will be like when I first brought it home it will have been so long.

I think for me it'll be even better, because when I first brought it home I still had my Corvette. Driving nothing but a hybrid Fusion is going to give me a brand new appreciation for this car.
