Hi All, in Down Under,
I hope somebody can put me in the right direction to solve my situation/dilemma or will I opening a new can of worms!!!
Short Story;
I bought a dashboard cover from my Kia Spare parts Dealer in Sydney, Gladesville! in NOV 2020. Awhile ago.
Did not install until about say 6 months ago. Reason, Not got around to it and then had to go to QLD, see my Parents due to COVID and all.
Came back, still not got around to it and then I did install it after a 2 months (8 months from when I bought it) well I just placed it on the dashboard so that it will lie flat in position before I really stick it down. a few days later I realised when I was playing some new FLAC ripped music and did not sound great.
After a few tries found out why. I then nearly had a Heart attack and was admitted to hospital and had Open Heart Bypass Surgery and recovering now.
PS. Was not caused by the DASHBOARD COVER, LOL
The usual killers, High Fat, Salt and Cholesterol.
Back to the dashboard cover, Kia will not replace it or refund me for the purchase of the cover. It is too old over a Year ago.
The warranty card says different!
They only have 1 type of cover for all Stingers!!!!! (Designed for Stinger GT Line)
Problem; There isn't a cut out for the Centre speaker channel on the dashboard.
The cover was literally covering/blocking the sound.

Wrong product sold and/or Manufacturing fault.
They said they sold around 10 dashboard covers in the last 12months, so unless somebody is driving the Stinger GT Line, you should not have a problem!
So Curious to know how many have bought this for a GT and are Ok with it or have not realised the issue at hand.
See attached pics.
Kia Stinger accessories webpage still sells them and does not say that it fits only GT Line!!! In fact all stingers, could be mistaken if you did!
