Hey guys, I just got a Stinger and I'm worried that it got some sun damage. I just ordered a window sunshade for it but I'm not sure if there's already been some damage. I'll post some pictures. It's a GT1 model so it's not Nappa. 20200727_075819[1].jpg20200727_075826[1].jpg20200727_075837[1].jpg20200727_075819[1].jpg20200727_075819[1].jpg

Just looks like a lot of people test drove it. Try cleaning the seat and see what it looks like.
Does the texture look normal? Looks dehydrated in my opinion. I have a feeling like it should be a smoother texture but I might be mistaken.

Looks normal to me. Just a bit dirty on the leg support

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Howdy and welcome to the forum (since now we know you're here).

The headrest is not leather, in case you didn't know. Only the main portions of the seats are leather. I just clean my upholstery with a sprayed terrycloth towel; I never spray directly on the surface.

I have a 2018 GT with the same material you have. After some research on detailing seats like these, and whether to treat them as plastic or leather (apparently a big debate in the auto detailing world), I came across this product:

It works wonders on my seats. Keeps them looking great, protects them from sun damage, and guards against minor scratches and spills. 10/10 Would definitely recommend. Just dilute it the proper amount!

The product description does exactly what it says: "PERL Coat by CarPro is a water-based, protective coating for plastics, rubber, and leather. PERL Coat restores the like-new appearance of these surfaces and keeps them looking good with strong UV and hydrophobic protection. Best of all, PERL Coat lasts up to three months!"

looks fine to me. Don't worry about it. It's leather, so over time you will start to see it change and wear. Just the way it is. Best thing you can do to give the seats a long life is to get window tint with UV protection.
