With CPI and intercooler, are down pipes and exhaust upgrades necessary?

So I recently bought a 2019 GT1 and this is the first time I’ve had a car that I wanted to mod. So far I have Injen intakes, JB4, HKS plugs, catch can, lowering springs, and sway bars. I have ordered a BMS cpi and wondered if it is necessary change out the down pipes and exhaust as well. This is all new to me and has been a learning and fun experience. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm running cpi with stock down pipes but I do have aftermarket mid pipes and cat-back. I haven't had any issues but I've wondered if the extra fuel is an issue for the stock cats as well.

I would say, contact @Terry@BMS from BMS - he's quite easy to get a hold of here (with a few days delay) or on Facebook, or even direct email.

My gut says no. Also, be aware that LOTS of people have snapped studs at the turbo doing downpipes - I've read of more on here than I can recall seeing snapped studs on Legacy GTs in almost 15 years on legacygt.com.
