Any suggestions on what to get. Will 18 inch rims work. And do the tires have to be staggered

I went with 18" 225/45/R18 Nokian Hakka R3 on all 4 and some cheap winter rated (means painted lol) wheels from Kal Tire with TPMS sensors. Cost me about 2 grand CAD and worked great.

Thanks. My Kia dealer advised against 18’s saying not enough clearance for the Brembo callipers. Obviously not true since 18’s worked for you. They want over 3 grand.

Look at a Set of Fastco FC04's in 18" by far my single best selling wheel for winters on stingers a complete set of wheels, tires (michelin x-ice 3) TPMs sensors and labour was about 2500, if you get some kia sensors off ebay you can save yourself about 300-400

Most reputable companies these days (Kal Tire, 1010tires, etc) seem to know what wheels fit over Brembos and which do not. 18's with Brembo's isn't a big issue these days and is fairly common, was not the case back in 2009 when I bought my Cobalt SS brand new in the middle of winter...

May want to advise your dealer that the gt2 is available with 18s all seasons OEM. What the fk is wrong with these lying, pos dealers? 3k for 18”... mudder frackers.

That's funny. Mine quoted me $2100 for alloy rims, TPMS sensors, and the tires. In BC, so not sure why the price differential

Thanks very much. I’ll shop around other Kia dealers

Just the OE 18" rims alone would be over $2,500; they are/were $630 apiece!? Ridiculous price for "boat anchors" (aka HEAVY rims): well, that's what the 19" cost, I didn't actually price 18"; but would expect them to be the same or similar. So, over $3K with tires and labor is "reasonable" if you are going with spanking new OE rims.
