Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later, just didn't expect it with only 550 miles! Lol. Tonight while driving home, a car changed lanes in front of me on the freeway, and then ding! A small rock or something hit just below the sensor/mirror part of the windshield! It's a very small ding, but it looks and feels gigantic to me. Off to the glass place in the morning to get it fixed. I almost cried! Lol

Nooooo. That hurts me and I don't even have mine yet. My buddy just got a Range Rover 2 weeks ago and had a rock put a sizeable crack in his windshield. $1300 to repair.

Bummer, know how you feel. Insurance covers it right?

tooo bad ! I think if you get it filled asap it wont spread and it looks like a low visibilty spot ??

Contact your insurer immediately. Most will 100% cover a "repair" of the glass vs. a replacement if the chip is small enough and outside the normal viewing area of the road. If you're fortunate enough, something like that can be filled completely and be invisible. Just don't wait. Any chip or crack can and will get larger over time.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Damn. Sorry to see this... Well, look at the bright side, at least that rock didn't hit your car and damage the body or paint... :|

You should see my Optima's windshield after 3 years in Alaska....probably have 20 dings and chips, a crack that spans the length of the windshield from heat expansion while defrosting too quickly on -30 day....lol.
