Went and saw my Doctor today so he can authorize my shoulder surgery. That being said he told me I probably couldn’t drive for a week or two post surgery..I told him then we should race before I go under the knife next week to settle who is faster…Who do you think wins?

And I think my orange is better lmao

If it's a 5.7 Hemi (which I believe it is), you win easily. If It's a 6.4 Hemi Challenger, he wins - simple as that. And yes, your orange is better..

I dont think he wins either way. It’s an older one circa 2009 or 2012 or something. The big HP on the R/T wasn’t until 2017 I believe. Also he is stock, mine breathes better and is AWD.

If it's that old you're probably right. If it's a 2015 or newer 392 Challenger he'll win - otherwise you've got it (I'm assuming all things stock). I say this as former owner of a 392 Charger and now I own a 3.3T G70.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

His is stock, mine is kinda stock..

Even if he's making big power, from a dig you'll win as long as the race isn't too long. Those shits are notoriously hard to put power down.

R/T? Yeah you'll definitely win. That R/T is a heavier car, rear wheel drive, with about the same horsepower. From a dig, it probably wouldn't even be close.

Considering that there's a YT video of a K5 GT beating a 5.7 Hemi Charger, a 2.5T Stinger should be able to beat a 5.7 Challenger.

Saw that race. I was shocked to see how slow that 5.7 was.

Yes, you can see in this guys videos (taken with a grain of salt) the Stinger smokes the 5.7 Hemi -

Conversely, it struggles against the 392 Hemi's -

As someone who as owned both a 392 Hemi and a 3.3T car, the 392 definitely feels faster from the seat of your pants

I had a total Reverse Shoulder Replacement on a Thursday; I drove myself to work on the following Monday. It was my right shoulder and I am right-handed. I rolled up a towel to support my arm next to the console. I was in a sling too. I suppose any sort of accident would be "bad", but I made it okay. I'm still in physical therapy and surgery was in mid-April. Certainly, it would be best to wait a couple of weeks before you drive.

Good luck with the shoulder. Rotator Cuff? or joint replacement?

I have a labral tear that he’s going to repair, as well as snipping the bicep and reattaching to the front of the shoulder to
minimize strength loss. Also repair any additional issues from dislocation, etc. Told me up to 12 weeks for rehab.. I go under the knife this Friday..

I had surgery on both surgeries to correct labrum tears. The doctor that did the right shoulder also did the bicep snip. This was back in 2014 when I lived in the gym. The bicep snipping really did a number on the aesthetics of my arm. I've had this weirdly low hanging Popeye looking bicep ever since. If it isn't absolutely necessary, I'd avoid the bicep snip.

He's reattaching it though - he said if I left it snipped it has a "popeye muscle" tendency, not if he reattached which is what he's doing. I have a bad impingement which he says requires it, bad inflammation etc. He is one of the best in Chicago so hoping it won't mess thingsa up.

Mine was reattached too. I don't think it's possible to make it look completely normal. But if you need it you need it. Functionality has to come before looks.

What really sucked for me is I was in the Marine Corps and whenever I'd roll my sleeves up the one side would have nice tight cuffs hugging my bicep while the other side was baggy and sat above my dangly bicep. It was quite a site. My coworkers thoroughly enjoyed giving me shit.

Now you have me worried....

You'll have a better doctor than I did. My second surgery was in Joplin, MO, so the doc probably graduated from some kind of school for operating on livestock.
