Who Here Is Living In Australia?

From Melbourne, looking for the right car with the right mix of style, tech, value for money and power. Using the car as my personal car and as a second family car (3 Kids)
Main others considered are
-Ford Focus RS
-2017 Holden Commodore SSV Redline
-Yet to be released 2018 Holden Commodore (Opel Insignia)
-Volkswagen Passat R-Line 206tfsi
In my opinion from what I've seen and read this car will be world class and a far better overall package.

Just found this thread...
From Brisbane here, just want this car, flat out greedy. Appears to be great value car to me, fantastic looks and pending drive helps too. It would be purely an extra car for us. I would drive it every other day I don't need the work truck with me. We have 3 kids too, but I'm not sure if I want them in it :) haha. As above the Holden SSV would be it's current competitor, bit common and underwhelming now, end of line and will no longer produce from Oct. I have also looked at the Skoda Superb 206, very nice if a bit too plain/or not sporty enough and quirky brand, which I actually like. Various other sport sedans come to mind from BMW 3 series, Audi and even Volvo.

I'm from Melbourne and have also just found this thread. I currently drive a BMW 35i and that is what the Stinger will have to compete with. Does anyone want to comment of the following.
(a) In all the articles and reports I've read and seen on the Stinger, I have not seen a spare wheel in the boot !
(b) The top speck Stinger GT now reportedly sells in Korea for 48.8 million won, which is $58,247 Aust. If one also adds GST to that last figure, the Stinger GT could cost about $63,000 in Australia.

Welcome! It would be better to ask this question in our main Stinger area. Right here: https://stingerforum.org/forums/kia-stinger-talk.2/

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Living in North West Tasmania. Looking at replacing my Jeep as not doing as much 4x4 driving. Was also looking at the redline commander but a Holden mad friend introduced me to the Stinger. After doing a fair bit of investigation I placed a deposit for a top spec GT. Can't wait to get this baby on our country winding roads I brought my wife a Hyundai Velosta turbo 4 years ago and if the build quality and reliability is anything like that I will be very happy.

Hi Guys, living in Brisbane - great forum. Got my deposit down on a Deep Chromo Blue GT (black leather). I'm in it for the thrill of the drive - Wasn't planning on a new machine for another 18 months or so but stinger has me kinda hooked. Eeehaa.
