Just came across these on their website, they have now been released by Whiteline for the Stinger.

All I really want to know...


Do these have nipples?
No real sure on that question, but I’m sure any of the sway bar experts here may be able to provide the answer.

I don't think they have nipples. It looks like they're still using 'grease free' (PTFE/Teflon lining on the inner surface) bushings. However, I don't think these work that great as I have heard complaints about noise (and the fact they still include grease in the kits...). When I installed Whiteline's front and rear bars and endlinks on my '17 WRX, I used a load of grease, just to be on the safe side.

The Stinger kit also comes with lateral locks to stop the bar moving sideways in the bushings, which also came with the WRX kit. When I checked them six months after installation, I didn't see any sign of grease coming out.

I ordered a set of these yesterday after seeing the announcement on their Facebook page, and because the Eibachs are still on backorder in Australia. These are two way 24mm and 18mm bars, vs the 25mm and 19mm two-way Eibachs.

Whiteline is the way I'll be going now.
It would be an interesting comparison between Eibach & Whiteline set ups.
 
I got a shipping notification yesterday, so my Whiteline kit should arrive in the next day or two, and get installed early next week. I don't imagine there is any significant difference between the Eibachs and the Whitelines.
 
Is there info on the size of the sways?

So they're 1mm thinner than the Eibach bars. No info (yet) on solid vs hollow - do we know what the Eibachs are in that area?

In the end, the stiffness measure is what really matters (thickness and hollow vs solid are just how they get there), I've seen the numbers for the Eibachs somewhere...
 
Eibach front is tubular but rear is solid.

Well, the courier just arrived with them, which was a bit unexpected. They look nice, and include not only the BKF001Z front and BKR001Z rear sway bars, but also adjustable end-links (KLC180-115 rear and KLC180-195 front). Unfortunately, the Stinger uses the KLC180-295 links for the front (the 195 is for large SUVs like Pathfinders and are a lot smaller) so it looks like kit was incorrectly packed. Oh well, I've contacted Whiteline and will see what they have to say.

Just heard back from Whiteline, who say they will courier me the correct 295 kit. Hopefully this is an isolated case!
Quick delivery & quick response to rectify partial incorrect delivery, great service.
BTW I have the Whiteline End Links & they compliment the sway bar upgrade perfectly.

Nice, what are your impressions & have you got pictures?
 
I'll get some pictures up tomorrow when it's light outside. It feels flatter around corners to me, but hard to test much out when it's below freezing. Hopefully in the sun tomorrow I'll be able to try some corners.

Yep, it should feel flatter when cornering without compromising the ride quality & yes wait until it’s warmer before you push it, better be safe than sorry.

I got a chance to do some more spirited driving around corners today, and I'm definitely impressed with these sway bars. The car is much flatter and feels more composed around corners, with less body roll. It still feels like a big car, but no longer sways like a boat. I also managed to push the car harder on corners without the rear end getting as 'floaty' as it has been. I'm not going to push it too hard, and will gradually increase my cornering speed and acceleration over time, as I don't want to go to that Mustang life. As expected, there is zero penalty for these improvements and the ride remains as smooth and quiet as always (I also coated the trunk with dynamat, and added a layer of acoustic foam on top, over the weekend).

The bars are both at their softer setting, and I don't see any particular need to go hard with a GT car, at least not until I've had a chance to try out some more challenging roads (and maybe wait for summer for that).

I also like the fact that you can see the gold rear links through the rear rotors, for that extra bit of bling.

Edit: for those wondering, both front and rear bars are solid, not tubular.
