I have the aFe momentum intakes. They are normally pretty silent, especially compared to the cat back and secondaries. This past weekend, I installed the BMS intercooler kit. I noticed right away that the metal coupler that is held in by the pin is a little loose. At the same time, I uninstalled the stock intake snorkels/silencers.
When I went to test the car out afterwards, there's a whispy whistle sound that starts at 3-4 psi and gets progressively louder with more boost. Louder than the exhaust. The car registered 15.5 psi in sport mode pulling from 30 mph. Thats more than i've ever seen before as i dont have a tune. Is this just the normal intake sound with the silencers removed, or could I possibly have s boost leak?
