Whine/screeching??

This sound seems to come and go randomly under moderate/heavy acceleration. Has anyone heard it too? I can't seem to find out where the noise is coming from. *(TRYING TO ATTACH VIDEO)*

I'll do it again in bit when I'm out. Sounds like it's coming from the front end of the car though.

So, I guess you can't do video. Here's a screenshot of my JB4 gauges the moment I hear it. Again, it comes and goes and it sounds like it's coming from the front of the car. This is slowly increasing my foot pressure on the accelerator.

This is full throttle, pedal to the floor from 30 to 90mph. JB4 logs are good per Terry

Hmmm. Do you have stock intakes or blow off valve?
If its a screeching sound i would be worried but turbo sounds or wastegate sounds could be the culprit.
With semi inclosed intakes i get alot of what could be called turbo whine in that rpm range for sure.

But im just picking at straws here

If you can check the turbo's front turbine for play. Or damage to the fins.
Then maybe (if it is turbo related) drop the exhaust where you can and look for alot of oil in the exhaust.

Other than that i would have to hear it :/

So, I have BMS CAI and ADDW1 BOVs. I also have ARK secondary DPs. I read somewhere it could be wastegate noise too, but I'm no mechanic so I dont know what that noise sounds like. Is there a way I can email/DM you the videos so you can hear them?

On the first video (Screech/whine under WOT), that doesn't sound normal to me. On the second video you can hear the turbos start to spool up, then later on you hear that same sound.

I'm not sure exactly what that sound is, but it definitely doesn't sound normal to me. Seems like it's when your boost gets around 14+ PSI (top middle gauge is your boost in PSI I'm assuming) you can start hearing that whine/squeal.

Yeah, I can't seem to pinpoint exactly what causes that noise or where it's coming from exactly. Hasn't affected my driving or anything and it's been this way for a while now. Jb4 logs clean, I just can't figure it out.

Im not well read on this but is the jb4 talking to the wastegate or is the dump happening with the downpipes that could be louder.... maybe

Inspect tensioner bearings and the turbines for sure thats a spooky sound

Idk man, but I'm going to try and get someone to look at it. I do have the BMS EWG connectors too.

take your intakes off and take pictures of your turbo blades and try and lightly wiggle the shaft for play. it shouldn't really move at all.

Found where the noise is coming from. It's the driver's side ADDW1 BOV. Air is escaping through the base. Could be an o-ring/seal damaged. Took it to a performance shop and they hooked up some kind of pump to blow air through and it's coming right through it
