Hi, I signed up to this forum just to share this pictures with you guys.
I am an uni student so I dont own Kia Stinger now, but I will buy it in a few years time!

So, I've been just browsing, and found following two pictures.

BwQ58dccf9413061.webp
I found these from a korean website, I dont leave the link just yet because I didnt read the forum rule so I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put links to different sites.

These pictures were uploaded by one of the forum users, and apparently the user claimed that this is the export (from Korea) version of Stinger. The colour is called "Charcoal", not sure if it is the same colour as "Grey & Panthera Metal". It looks almost identical colour, but slightly different. But I'm not sure if that slight difference is due to strong light or car show or actually different paint material.

Another noticiable thing is the KIA logo. This is not the E logo, yet not the traditional KIA oval logo neither.

I personally think this version of KIA log is the best for KIA stringer. What do you guys think?

and does anyone know which country has that version of logo?

I like the E logo as it will be used for all future high end cars made by Kia.
According to recent leaks, the next K9 will be also using the E logo.

Good catch, Steven. I kinda like it ... looks a little more classy to me than a glued-on oval badge.

Welcome aboard, Steven! Thank you for signing up. Yes, please post the link to that Korean site with this interesting version of the KIA badge. As mentioned, yes, future "high end" Kia's will use the "E" badge. However, I do find the "oval-less" version of the KIA badge a big improvement over the old one. I'd love to find out more about this...

That looks a lot better than their normal badge.

It's the same font as their standard badge. I really like the font. It's just the way Kia packages it with the silver trim and black background that kills the look.

I've noticed the round "Kia Motors" badge with the blue circle in the middle. Does anyone know if that badge is an OEM badge, and if so which models sport them from the factory?

That's the one I bought to replace the KIA on the front of my car.

I'm not sure of it's origins.

OEM Kia Motors Badge - The Stinger Store

It's the OEM badge for Kia's in Europe. I'm not exactly sure where and which models - Europe is big. :p
Thanks! I'm kinda gravitating to that one. I was on another thread earlier and voiced my appreciation for the regional differences in respect to OEM badging. To my reckoning, keeping the emblems under the same official corporate umbrella is the way to go. Thanks for the info! Is it available as a wheel center cap?

See if this Google search link works for you. There were multiple Korean forum hits for that image, but would require a translator.

Comments:
  • This emblem is also what is it?
  • It is better than the emblem and the existing one is better.
  • Wow ... that's awesome. It 's cool. What's that emblem? It's okay.
  • It's cool because you do not have the emblem circle.
  • The emblem is a design clearinghouse.

Is that the stock front bumper on that Grey Stinger? I dont know if im crazy but it certainly looks a bit more aggressive to me. I love it. But maybe its just the color and angle of the pics?

I thought the same, but I think it's just the angle.

This badge is an older one, this is what the oval badge folks think is a rip-off from Lexus’ design, evolved from. Some years back when I was in Asia, I noticed it on some older SUVs. The current KIA badge got a redesign by Schreyer to remove the line in the A and give it the look it has now. It’s funny how folks will make a badge determine if they want to own a vehicle or not.
