• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Hey guys,
Couldn’t find a local recent thread on this.
Which one is best to go with?
BMS- easiest to install, lower sound then others?
K&n - good quality, good sound
JT- best looking, good quality, has enclosed box(legal) in nsw then, most expensive!
Am I missing anything pros or cons wise?
Any personal experiences appreciated.

I have the K&N, the fitment was amazing. No issues with anything. It looks great and sounds great. Most CAI sound similar, I would go for whichever one you like the looks of. You cannot go wrong with either 3 of those choices. There are DIY options that will be a fraction of the cost but don't look as good.

thanks mate yer won’t touch the DIY options. BMS is by far easiest to install and remove if need be for warranty/services etc.
JT look hardest to install but the enclosed cover means it complied with laws in my state.

I picked up K&N during a sale and was looking at BMS. I would of got BMS if it wasn't for the sale.

I’ve had the K&N Typhoon on my ‘06 Suby LGT spec b for 11 years, now at stage 3. No issues. Just got the Stinger in late Feb and installed the Typhoon on Sunday. Consistent quality, fair price, easy install. Yes, the sound is evident, and just adds to the nice look and performance potential.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I have the K&N Typhoon kit since I had a bunch of cashback rewards to use on Amazon and it cost me very little. No complaints.
