I just traded in my 2016 k7 SXL (34k miles), that replaced my 2012 550i GT Msport, to now have a beautiful 2019 Kia Stinger GTS...
Something I am trying to wrap my head around is the fact that according to everything I have read and watched, my GTS should have the Drivewise package and HUD in it, but neither are in the car. On top of that I am still trying to figure out everything regarding not seeing Drift Mode or Launch Control anywhere...
Anyone have any ideas, because otherwise I basically have a gorgeous, Federation Orange Stinger with less options than my other cars, and half the horsepower... :(

I could be wrong here, but im pretty sure that the only stingers with a HUD in them are the GT2's, and that it could not be optioned on at any other trim level.

Launch control activates after you turn off traction control (Hold down the TC button for 5 or 10 seconds depending on how much TC you want turned off, then put the brake to the floor and mash the pedal until it says "Launch ready")

Drift mode is a bit more of a mystery, as there is no dedicated button or setting for it. my car does not have it so I dont know how to activate it, but it SHOULD be in your manual as well as other people on here know how if your manual doesn't say anything for some strange reason.

yep, no HUD in the special edition stingers unfortunately, the GTS and the Indigo edition are based off of the base GT trim with some of the extra goodies of the higher trim.

Launch control is activated by being in Sport mode, (i believe you can do this in custom as well as long as the engine setting is in sport, that way you can play with the awd split) , So, Sport drive mode, press and hold the traction button for more than 3 seconds, you should see/hear a second notification when both traction AND stability control is off, the brake to floor, accelerator to the floor, you should see launch ready and a hear a ding.

I have the Indigo which has the same D-AWD as the GTS ( if your gts is awd some are rwd) and drift mode is activated by the same sequence as launch, Sport drive mode, traction and stability fully off, however, it's only activated if you turn the steering wheel a certain number of degrees. There is NO indication you are in drift mode, but you are, i've tested it :D

Welcome! Congratulations on your new Stinger. Moving this into our Stinger Technology forum...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Welcome to you and your "new" GTS in Fed Orange. As already said, if you're RWD you don't need "Drift mode" because you already have it in any drive mode 100% of the time. :p When you hoon hard enough (don't know what that point is, I only read about this), 100% power goes to the read wheels, once you've engaged launch control conditions (TSC off and engine in Sport). As for the GTS trims and "goodies": my reading confirms what has been said: no HUD and no "nannies".

(The 2019 Fed Orange GTS only saw 800 made for the US market, and less than 500 were AWD.)

Thanks guys! I was getting a little confused, as some posts had mentioned the Drivewise package on it, and all that isn't on her, so was worried something had happened in the mix... :P

No problem, on the Brightside, the HUD on these cars doesn't do that much compared to other cars though so you're not missing much. It only does speed, speed limit, directions(When using the built in GPS only, no Android auto or carplay directions), lane keep assist, blind spot indicators, and you can adjust the colors that it displays the speed in between orange, white, and green. that's literally it.

compared to my CTS-V Sport's HUD that would literally display every feature that the car had (media, RPMs, Temps, Directions from built in GPS and Carplay/Android Auto other performance metrics, everything that the KIA's HUD does, and more stuff that I am 100% forgetting about)
The KIA's hud is a serious let down.
at this point the only thing I keep it active for is my speed and the active CC/blindspot stuff.

You can compare the GTS to the GT2 here.
