Where to get Stinger wheel locks? The dealer threw a set in the trunk, but they were the tapered kind.

Just checking, did you verify that your wheels need mag nuts and not conical?

a) go back to the dealer and tell 'em they tried to destroy your wheels and get a correct set

or

b) go to any auto shop. Take one lug nut off to make sure you get the right threads. Should be m12x1.5

Go back to the dealer and get the right one.

I had to deal with this with my dealer. Apparently the mechanic installing them knew they were incorrect, but because KIA only has the one part available and lists them as the correct one,the parts manager actually threatened to fire him if he refused to install them.

I did my own research and bought a package of Gorilla brand nuts listed for Toyota trucks and they work perfectly.

The dealer refunded the cost of the locks. Gorilla Flange Nut for Kia_1.webp

If they refunded their mark-up for wheel locks, I'd say you came out way ahead.

Looks like you're all set on locks, but in case you are interested in something potentially more secure, here is another option:

Advanced Wheel Locks

Expensive, but apparently nullifies most common thievery methods. And probably still cost less than what the dealer charges for the McGards they tend to install.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Actually, the dealer only charged $50CND. About the same as the Gorillas on Amazon.
