Where is the Stinger built

Are these made in Korea and shipped around the world? Or made in Georgia?

They are assembled in Korea. Parts, however are from all over I think.

It’s built at the Sohari Plant in S Korea. Alongside the K900. The Sedona minivan and Rio are also built there.

My 19" Michelin tires were made in Spain.

By default i would assume all their low-volume cars are made in Korea. The American plants only build cars that have enough volume to justify having an entire factory just to supply North America.

It's funny because I always had American cars (some assembled in Canada) until my 2012 Optima, at which point I justified it because I loved the blue SX and it's made in Georgia so that's sort of American, right? Then by 2017 I was just like screw American car makers for not building a car that suits my needs and desires perfectly. GM's closest attempt was the SS but it had no liftback and looked like a Cruze, so that's nowhere close. Kudos to them for the Regal GS though, they came darn close.

Sorry to disappoint you, @davebo, but the Regal GS is made in Germany, and my two late Pontiacs were made by GM Holden in Australia.

I actually did know it started as an Opel, but figured the profits going to GM would be more "'Murican" than buying a straight up Korean car built in Korea.
