I don't believe the bi-modal exhaust switches with the mode. In this video you can hear almost no difference between comfort and sport:

Watching other videos, it seems the valves only open above a certain RPM and when on throttle. They close when backing off, and when at low RPM (idle etc). Watch here:

Can anyone confirm the logic that determines when the valves open on the new bi-modal exhaust?

Is this the truth table?

I think this applies only to the Australian developed Bi-modal which was introduced for the 2018-2020 models. This was a custom system that was integrated to the ECU by the dealer.

The stock bi-modal that comes on the new MY21-22 models seems to behave differently.

Yes the "truth table" only applies to the V1 and V2 AUS systems. The latest system, by all accounts, is nowhere near as good.

Hello!

Is there anywhere I can find detailed information with the explanation on how the Bi-Modal variable exhaust on my 2021 3.3 (KDM spec) works in different drive modes and throttle application.
I would really appreciate if someone could share any sources where it says that the operation of the exhaust valves is actually integrated into the ECU from factory.
