Im looking to get some 18x8 niche wheels. The offset on them is +42mm. I cant find anything definitive in this forum or online about if they will fit, I cant even find a consensus on the offset of the stock 18x8 wheels. Can anybody let me know if these would cause a problem?

I think that in front you might need a spacer. The OEM 8" wheels are all 34 offset as far as I have read.

42mm is pushing it. You might be okay with 5mm hubcentric spacers, which will make the effective offset 37mm... not too far off the factory 18x8's 34mm. Assuming the wheel will clear the brake calipers, of course.

I run EV 02 for winters and they are fine, they are 42mm offset.
Granted the tires are 225/45/18, so they arent very wide...245s might be another story.

Thank you! I probably shouldve mentioned I have a Gt-Line (no brembos), I dont know how much of a difference that makes though. I’ll look into some wheel spacers. Would going for 8x8.5 would let me run a higher offset?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

The wider the wheel, the lower the offset needs to be to clear the suspension components. So, answer is no.

Clearance to brake caliper depends on the design of the spokes. If the back of the spokes is relatively flat-faced, then the wheel should clear the caliper, even with higher offset. As far as the barrel of the wheel go, most 18s will clear the Brembos, so the GT-Line single-piston floating caliper should be noroblem.

Like I said, the 18x8 ET42 should be fine with 5mm spacer. Make sure to get hubcentric spacers though.

Great thank you! Still new to wheel fitment stuff so this was very helpful.
