Wheel center cap removal, what tool?

A member posted a photo of our center caps that show a tab to insert a tool for removal.
But what tool is best to prevent damage or scratching?

I used a screwdriver wrapped in a piece of cloth. They just pop off. Be sure you find the one "leg" that has the notch in it so you can get the blade inside.
