This may be a pointless post because everyone has different tastes and opinions. But I'm hoping someone will say something that will spark my decision making process to help me nail down exactly what to buy.

My dilemma (first world problems): An hour away from me there is a Ceramic Silver on black GT1.

About two hours away is a Silky Silver GT1 on red.

I love the Ceramic Silver exterior color. I live the Silky Silver's interior color. The black interior and Silky Silver exterior aren't a positive or a negative.

My worries are if I get the Ceramic Silver I will regret it whenever I'm driving down the road and not sitting on red seats. Or that whenever I walk up to the Silky Silver I'd regret not having the Ceramic Silver.

So, given the above first world probably what would YOU do?

There are two schools of thought.

1) You spend a majority of the time with your car in your car so the interior is important.

2) Other people see the outside of your car more.

Do you care what you think or what other people think? #2 isn’t a bad thing, part of the reason I bought the Stinger was because of its aggressive styling and “rarity” meaning it would get more attention.

Good point.

I was also just thinking of sometime down the line I grew wary of Silky Silver I could wrap it.

Can't wrap black interior though.

Red leather whilst looking good can be a nightmare to maintain and stains easy that’s why black is better.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Hey there @Kamauxx , personally exterior colour is most important , for example, everytime you look at your Stinger, the first thing you see is the paintwork, right, imagine everytime you look at your car, and that little voice in your head is telling you Silky Silver looks nice, but Ceramic Silver would have looked better and was your first choice, just a few days ago a salesman offered me to buy a Ceramic Silver/Grey i think it's called here, not sure, it looked just beautiful, but for me it's Deep Chroma Blue all the way, i believe Ceramic Silver is an elegant/luxury looking colour.
I am confident in saying most to all Stinger owners choose their favourite exterior colour over interior colour, because living with a second choice interior is easier than looking at your paintwork everyday, and still thinking of Ceramic Silver or seeing a Ceramic Silver on the road, and thinking, that looks more awesome or more sexy. Anyway the choice is yours, but before you make a choice though, seriously think which choice can you live with easier everyday, without it playing on your mind afterwards.

PS: Tell @AV8R to go fly a kite...haha:)
I can say that because i know @AV8R has a good sense of humour:rolleyes:, am i right BUDDY..haha

Ceramic silver with black. Black is easier to maintain and ceramic silver is extremely unique. Silky silver is certainly more mainstream.

DCB i will give you a long length of string.... to hang yourself! Lol
Yes I do have a good sense of humour!
How ever you are right. I originally wanted the red paint but up close in the show room it was too tomato in colour so I bought the white. Even considered the red interior but stuck with black. I don’t like the ceramic grey because it’s looks like a shiny undercoat. It’s each to their own taste. The blue looks good but gets hot in summer. So you see you can argue and discuss forever, just go with your gut and don’t look back! For gods sake man it’s a Stinger! Who cares what colour it is!

Thanx for the long length of string to hang myself...lol...im 100% sure it will break straight away..haha

That is a tough one. The best exterior color IMO, Ceramic, (although we have a Sunset yellow in town and it is gorgeous) or the best interior color (Red) IMO? How comfortable are you with waiting for a Ceramic Silver with Red interior? They exist.

They exist.
Excellent, you just answered his questions, in that case wait for Ceramic Silver with Red interior ...Case Closed. It will be worth the wait if you can.

Ceramic Silver and red exist? Possibly but on the east coast there is slim pickins.

I'm going to check out the Ceramic Silver in a few minutes. They're closer to me so if the numbers are right I'm going to be driving it home. If not I'll be driving another hour north to check out the Silky (Silky Silver is also $1k cheaper, fwiw).

What a wonderful problem to have

My own preferences are for "colors" so I see too many "gray" and "silver" cars in my part of the world on the roads so they don't stand out around here. I ordered red exterior because that's what the wife wants, and because my GTO is a lovely bright blue metallic and I wouldn't want two blue cars. Interior of the red is black - no choice, at least when I ordered it. Silvers just aren't my "thing" so no recommendations on that.

Black has the advantage of being much warmer getting into the car in the winter, and hotter getting into the car in the summer. Your post @Kamauxx doesn't show where you live. Red interior would trap less heat than black, so that might be a big consideration aside from just the color. My GTO has beautiful blue leather and it has worn exceptionally well -- in fact perfectly -- over 13 years. Based on that, I wouldn't expect red leather to be any more problem to maintain than black, and in fact maybe easier. The black leather in my G8 has worn a bit of the color off on the left driver-side bolster from 190,000 miles of use, but no one keeps a car that long -- do they? You can always get sun shades for the front and back glass if you must park it in the sun in summer.

I suspect once you get into the car, the interior and exterior color won't matter any longer. :)

I am in a similar situation as I want the micro blue with red interior. I've waited almost a year since finding out the Stinger was coming while I was considering a few more expensive options. I can wait a bit longer..

I'm getting Ceramic Silver. Having it detailed and having their stupid logo removed from it right now. (It's a huge logo... seriously it takes up more real estate than anything else on the rear)

I got a decent price after negotiating my car with stock and aftermarket wheels into the deal.

Diazepam

My vote is for Ceramic Silver with black interior. But get whichever one excites you the most.
