I currently have a Stinger 2.0 Premium and am thinking about trading it in for a GT1. I should qualify for all rebates including the miltary rebate. Going to do a lease buyout but focusing on the final price after all the rebates and discounts. What would you guys consider a really good price? Total manufactures suggested retail price: 46,320

Sorry for the grammar, my iPhone sucks.

There is $6400 in lease cash plus the $400 for military. See if you can get 20% off of the MSRP or close to it. Depending on what your taxes are, you should be around the mid to upper $30K.

I'm looking at this and am somewhat confused as to what rebates can be stacked to lower the cars overall final price.

So I will be leasing (plan on buying it out immediately after)

So since I own a Stinger already I should get 6000 (lease Cash) + 3000 (Loyalty Cash) + 2000 KMF (Bonus Cash) + maybe the competitive Bonus cash??? (that one I highly doubt) + 400 (Military).

So 46, 000 (MSRP) i'll try to knock down to 44,000 then (11,000 in rebates) ? so is this feasible or am I way off?

Sadly, after checking KIA's site today, the loyalty bonus for lease was taken away so you only get $6400 between the lease cash and military discount. You should try for @ 10% or better off MSRP. Where are you located and what colors combo are you looking for on your ride?

GT1: Panera Grey, thunder grey, or black with red interior, even do a black interior if the price is right.

Is your greatest pleasure the car or scoring a killer deal? If you want the car, then lease it with the available rebates and discounts then buyout the least right away. Don't worry about a couple of thousand either way, or compare your business to what others have paid for theirs. I have never even opened the "What did you pay for your Stinger" thread. A killer deal is more of an ego or OC thing, imho. You know that dealerships are going to shave off anywhere from ten to twenty percent on a MY18 right now, to move them. If someone offers to do that, then the only other important thing is to feel good about who you are dealing with, because that is the relationship after the car is yours and you have to take it in for maintenance.

There aren’t too many Panthera Metal out there, not sure if they come with the red interior. The Ceramic Silver with Red is GT2 only, Black can be had in GT1 or 2 with red interior. You didn’t mention your location or have it in your profile so I can check your area to see what they have around.

So how much are they giving you for your car? Since you are trading in, that factors largely into the final price. Doing things separately, shoot for 10% off MSRP on the new car before incentives. For the trade, whatever you owe will end up going on the new car price so you want to make sure the new car side is the best and lowest they can get you. Have you checked KBB to see what the trade in is on your car yet?

Looking in your area through KIA's website, within 50 miles, there aren't that many GT1s out there and none that I saw with red interior, there are a few black with red and a lot of GT2s in red and black and also few with red interior. That worksheet is a finance deal, with the finance cash of around $3400 plus dealer discount. If they are willing to give you the same dealer discount and you do a lease you get $6400 in lease cash, then get your own financing on the final price. The trade in will put you higher in the end, so you want to make sure you are getting the best possible deal on that. Keep us posted on this.
