I've had numerous cars with rock chip issues. Reading on quality of paint, I will be very scared with just polish. OTOH, that $800 saved will get me some nice toys.

Pricey. I got my entire front done for under a thousand. But I was willing to pay what they asked. They gave me a deep discount: said the normal price was $1,400 for PPF back to the windshield; gave it to me for $950. I was (and am) a happy camper.I am leaning towards ppf/tints to start off. Shops around here wants $800+ for ppf bumper only and $200+ for tints.I wish I had some hook ups.
I don't for one second buy the notion that some kind of "polish" will keep rock chips from happening. Only a layer of PPF will do that. It's been said on here countless times that ceramic does not protect against road debris (shrapnel!I've had numerous cars with rock chip issues. In this case, you've cheated and went over my original budget.Pricey. I got my entire front done for under a thousand. But I was willing to pay what they asked. Yes. But I was saying "bumper". I figured my guys would have done the entire bumper for under five hundred. In this case, you've cheated and went over my original budget.PPF will be good first purchase, but it's not as tempting/sexy as some of the other stuff.
