• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

What is your "Stinger-perfect" stretch of road in Victoria? (I've seen a NSW version of this question but I don't think there has been one for Victoria. Apologies for the repeat if there is).

I guess I should offer my thoughts, although I haven't had a chance to get out much yet since getting my GT. For a day out from the north of Melbourne; out through Hurstbridge and St Andrews to Kinglake Nat Park (C746/C724). On to Flowerdale on C725 and back through Yarra Glen on the B300 for the drive through Christmas hills on the C726. Nice stretches of winding road, some great scenery, and plenty of options for stretching the legs or stops for a "lemonade" or a coffee.

I didn't know they had bitumen in the period 1837-1901:D...couldn't resist.

Any road that leads to Queensland seems to be popular for all Victorians, not just Stinger owners. :)

I'm frustrated we don't have at least one road that's not speed governed surely we have the room somewhere. I'm itching to stretch the Stingers legs. I managed a docile 160k on an on ramp.

I believe the highway in The NT is not unlimited as we are lead to believe. It's because it's so remote that' its not policed that well? I'm certainly not going all that way for a burn.

Thought that was just one of your overtaking speeds

Nothing wrong with your memory :laugh:. True I've notched a few 100 mph especially down to Nepean bridge. Just to let you know FB is in the process of putting together another drive this time to the Hunter valley at this stage rumoured to be early March. I will post as soon as I'm told to disclose.

I'll need a designated driver for the return leg!

I was thinking you might intimate that, you are more versatile than I thought. I took you as a beer man only. Obviously any thinking wet and potent fits the bill:laugh::rofl::laugh:
