What to do with the Cargo Cover?

I'm going on my Army Reserve Annual Training, and I'm taking the Stinger with me to the training site. The car will largely be parked once I'm there, but I've got to take a LOT of stuff with me. I'll have enough that I'll most likely need to remove the cargo cover and have the seats down to fit everything. So, where do I put the cover? Just lay it on top of everything? Put it behind the front seats? Lay it upside down on the bottom of the trunk before I load the car? Of course, the easy answer is just to leave it at home, but I would like to be able to close everything up after I unload the car if I do decide to use it for something while I'm there.

I would never leave the cargo cover somewhere. my preferred method is to take cover out of the hinges and leave it hanging loose, that way the cargo can push the cover right up to the glass liner. try and pack so that you don't need any cargo to touch the glass and you should be able to leave the cover hanging on its strings unhinged. If that doesn't fit your needs, then try slipping it in behind the front seats, as you already suggested.

I leave it in my garage.

I tinted the glass though to 5% so you can’t see inside.

I do the same thing. Balance it on the transmission tunnel, right behind the front seats.
This also spares me from seeing the mess in the trunk or from something slipping between the front seats during a hard braking event.
Be sure to close the rear air vents so they don't blow directly into the cover the whole time.

This is what I usually do when carrying something large enough. I hadn't thought about closing the vents, but I've never traveled more than about 20 miles or so with a full cargo area.
