Could have been there since forever but I noticed this little red star on the top corner of the infotainment system. Also what is the deal with the line through a speaker? It doesn't mean the audio is muted because I was listening to spotify and it was not muted.

I think that is the audio for the navigation system. No idea about the red star though.

The red star is indicating that the setting that the car will attempt to contact emergency services through the phone connected via Bluetooth or carplay/android auto if it has signal in the event of an airbag event.

Thanks now it make sense. I recently registered UVO and I must have said okay to contacting emergency services

Yeah, the line through the speaker on the NAV means your NAV volume mute option is engaged.
