There are A LOT of 2018's out there and dealers are clearly negotiating on them. Not counting tax / title / license... how much should I expect to pay for an AWD 2018 GT2 with 19" rims? $39,000? Too high? Too low? Thanks for your time and help!

if you can get 39 that would be awesome, got my 18 in November for 43.

39 would be awesome. I was super happy with 43+ end of September.

I wouldn't even believe $39K. I'd be looking for something to explain that one! Then, if it was real, snap it up.

I got a GT2 RWD with about $700 in options for $39500 before taxes and fees in October. Taxes were $1700, I was out the door at 42k.

Crazy to think that a brand new vehicle with an MSRP of $52k could sell for $39k. Do these Stingers not hold their value very well?

Any vehicle that is over a year old and still in dealer inventory will have a hefty discount on it to move it. Now, the dealers will still try to get the maximum they can for it and anyone not in the know could end up paying too much, then end up in a negative financial situation on the vehicle. A used 2018 GT2 can sell for @ $40k, asking prices range from $38K to $45k, depending on where you are located and available inventory, who knows what one could end up going out the door for. The first year depreciation is big and it declines after that. It’s said that in 27-36 months, your car should be worth about what you owe on it, if you do a standard 5 year loan.

My 2014 Porsche Cayman S was $80,000 new, now is worth 35,000 USD. One thing that you guys need to understand is that all cars depreciate big time.

Agreed that all vehicles depreciate a lot, however, I'm surprised that it's still a brand new vehicle (never titled), and has already depreciated over $13,000. That seems like a lot to me for a vehicle that's still brand new :-(.

I don't think that this is generally the case. This particular sale could be low for other reasons than mere depreciation.

Sounds more like a motivated seller with a desire to clear the old out of their inventory and the huge lease incentives being included. Wish there were more dealers that would understand the longer it's on their lot, sitting beside 2019 models, the less it's worth to a buyer.
