I have 2019 GT2 and has 2200 miles on it over 2 months of ownership.
the car is starting to make all sorts of noises..
I would appreciate your input.

1. floor squeak

I thought it was rubber on the bottom side of the stock mat that came with the car, but still makes the noise without the stock mat.
It appears the floor material is making noise by being rubbed against some other parts. I'm thinking floor material is rubbing against the bottom mount of the pedal. I think I will probably have to leave it to dealership
This noise doesn't happen at low temperature (under 35ish), but it starts to make noise as the inside warms up.
I had my feet pushing/releasing the gas pedal, but it's not from pedal. It makes noise when I press down the floor alone, but I just wanted to show the floor makes noise when I'm controlling gas pedal with my right feet or changing angle of my feel to press brake pedal.

2. Seat belt

This part of seat belt rubs against the side plastic part of the seat and makes noise.. I think I can fix this one easily by adding felt or something similar.. but just wanted to share.
This only makes noise when it's cold not like the first one.

3. ??? from front passenger door

This one's really weird one.
It sounds like some thin metal is rattling against something.
It only occurs while driving at highway speed and seems to occur more frequently when it's more windy... I checked front brake vents and there's nothing there stuck.

Did anyone have similar problems and was able to find solutions??
I really don't like taking my car to dealership as I've had some experience where technicians ended up making damage on interiors while repairing my vehicle.

I couldn't hear a thing in the last video. The seatbelt rubbing sound is because you are belted in. Just wedge a rag down there if it bugs you. (You can do the same thing for the passenger belt; the buckle sometimes clacks against the B pillar; if it gets too annoying, just wrap the buckle.) The floor noise: how could you possibly hear this with the engine revving and the road noise? You didn't first hear it when the car was running, am I right?

you can hear clatter noise if you volume up.
floor noise is pretty noticeable actually. especially when ISG kicks in and as I release brake to move away from red light, it will squeak.

I do not have the floor noise, but I do have rattles very similar to yours and here are some thoughts:

Ride with the moon roof shades open(but the actual glass is still closed), see if there is a difference. Then at this position, push different areas of the moon roof glass to see if there is a noise.

Turn into a sloped driveway and create some torsional force on the car. See if there is squeak in the door/seatbelt area. Push on door panels and handles area to see if there is squeaking.

I have GT2 AWD and i am furious about this issue after 3 failed attempts to fix it by dealership.

Then Kia flew in a corporate engineer with verdict that the noise is normal and within specification.

I escalated the issue with kia premium support phone line and will get a response within 7 business days.

I am also in search of lawyers to deal with the issue, in case Kia end up not fixing it.

did you ever get these fixed?

did you ever get these fixed?

I'm going to have the floor fixed by dealership this Thirsday. But I think I will handle other problems on my own..

Door Panel Creaking / Squeaking Elimination

For the door pane noise:I'm going follow above guideline to remove door panel and secure all loose wires and add some pads if necessary

I tried dupont silicone lube on all door seals and the noise were gone until I washed my car. I think I will look into longer lasting grease for rubber.

Could you let me know which dealership is it?

My local dealer cannot find the issue and Kia USA refused to repair if an issue cannot be found. I escalated in every way possible and now it is at a dead end

Quick question guys. My car is parked and when I try to rev it I hear this squeak before the rev kicks in. Do you know what this issue might be? I attached a link for the sound.

ㅎㅇ..
That's very weird noise.. do you hear it with door closed?
and why isn't your engine reving when you push the pedal?

Hello!! I press it "really quick" and release it before the rev kicks in. It also has that sound when I just press the gas and letting the rev kicks in. I can't hear it when the door is closed but I hear it when the door is open...... :(

All I hear is your pedal clicking as you push and quick release. How would this be a problem? Nobody drives like that.

I have this problem on my car. Brand new 2020 GT1. Did you ever get this resolved or find a fix?
