My shop is installing Eibach front and rear sway bars and I got a text asking what setting I wanted them at, soft or stiff? I have no idea. Suggestions? I'm picking up the car at 11:30am tomorrow morning.

Front soft rear stiff is what mine are at

These are helpful guides.
Im running soft front & rear & extremely happy with that set up for daily driving.

Eibach says soft unless you are tracking the car.

Yeah, my thoughts are if you are going stiffer, you really need stiffer shock damping to help calm the higher side-to-side spring rate that results.

The car is likely suffering from significant understeer though, If you want to tune some of it out sways help, wider front tires help too. Too stiff in the rear keeps you from being able to put down power in a turn. There are people in AutoX that disconnect swaybars for some courses. You push a car this heavy and big though and it starts leaning a lot.

Both on soft seems to be the majority preferred for everyday driving.

suppose you wanted to change from soft to stiff? I track 2x a year, and I will be getting sways soon enough. Can I jack the car up and just change them? Or do I need to buy a ramp (load needs to be on)

It is fairly easy, I changed mine from firm to soft with the car jacked up.
Get both tires in the air, having one under load makes it much harder to remove.
I could be wrong about this, but I would think removal while under load/tension would be both difficult and potentially dangerous.

It ultimately comes down to preference, driving style, and local road conditions.

For track use - F & R stiff
Many users use F soft and Rear stiff for normal use .... however for my taste (and my local roads) this was too harsh for being my daily commuter car, so I have mine both at soft.

Thanks everyone! Got the car back today but unfortunately it was raining so I couldn't push it, especially on 4 new tires. However it does feel more settled while cornering. Looking forward to some dry pavement in the near future!
