So far Kia has made plenty known about the Stinger during launch events, and this community has collectively unearthed even more details yet. With everything that we've seen so far, what are you still waiting to find out about this car in terms of features or specs?

For me, I'm still wanting to know:
  1. Specifics on the AWD system. I expect it to basically be the Hyundai HTRAC system, but there hasn't been any specifics on it's design or how it splits power between the front & back of the car.
  2. Are the primary headlights directional/adaptive with the steering? i.e. will they follow your path when making turns.

Some outstanding info for me........
  1. I am also interested in the AWD system. Purely from a cost perspective I expect them to just port over the HTRAC system and call it a day.
  2. Fuel economy numbers and gas tank size?
  3. OEM Remote start?
  4. All the color choices/combinations for exterior and interior.
  5. Will the US model have Auto Stop/Start?
  6. What factory tires will the Stinger GT be fitted with? I am hearing Michelin Pilot Super Sports for the US (that was what was mounted on the GT I saw at the auto show). Given the proposed 4th quarter release of the Stinger I am hoping to see the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S used instead. But left over Super Sports may be better financially for Kia.

OEM Remote start?

We got a good view of the keyfob in an older thread, no signs of remote start, and I don't believe any Kia's (including the K900) have had a OEM remote start offered.

Will the US model have Auto Stop/Start?

I believe we've established in some older threads that the car will indeed have that.

do we know if the stinger has a tire gauge monitor that displays the pressure in all four tires? that's sort of a pet peeve of mine. especially when the system is telling you that one of your tires is low erroneously. for example i can get a notification that a tire is low but i don't know which one. i get out of the car and look at all four tires and they're all fine. let me know which tire is low. that way if the monitor comes on and i see the pressure looks fine in all four tires i don't need to waste my time. i'm sure it sounds petty but you guys already mentioned my other questions.

I believe the Sorento has a factory accessory kit for remote start (it even has a warranty). There is a separate keyfob that just controls remote start. I actually prefer those systems as the range is usually much, much longer than with the factory keyfob (50-100 ft vs 300-500 ft).

Yes, I pointed out the "button" in a previous thread. So we established the cars making the Autoshow rounds (and in the press) have it. As far as I know only the "compact" cars (Soul & Rio) have Auto Stop/Start (ISG in Kia speak) in the US. All the "sedans" (Cadenza, K900, etc.) in the US do not. However, the Optima is offered with ISG on some ROW models. So I want to know if all markets will get it or if it will be like the Optima (i.e. not offered in the US).

I would be OK with not knowing each individual tire pressure if the car came with indirect TPMS (no wheel sensors). Then you could swap summer and winter wheels/tires without having to reset the sensors with a tool or do to a shop/dealership to have them reset it for you.

Alas that will not be the case. So to answer you question, if other "higher end" Kia models are an indicator, it will tell you the pressure for each tire. The Cadenza tells you the pressure for each tire on the TFT.

The Optima does not tell you the actual pressure but it does indicate which tire is low. Check out this video:
