My stinger is missing this part on one side to hang the cargo cover cable onto. Anyone knows the name/part number? Thanks

Maybe, if the car is really new and was missed during the inspection it's easier to justify getting the part for you.

just curious how long has it been missing, did it come new that way?

been missing since i got the car used a few weeks ago .lol.. 2018 model..
The hole for it looks good and not damage is i don't think it was abused and broken off.

81732-1K000 could be?
I looked this part up, it says luggage net hangar. So i am not sure if it's for the cargo cover or not ;( Guess i might have to head to the nearby dealer just to make sure? ;(

If they screw into place, try removing the other one and use that to make sure the empty hole will accept the replacement (it's possible if it broke off there's an end of a screw in there).

ask the dealer like you said, that is where I would go. this is not a part that likely went through any changes in subsequent model years. unlike some other parts. I have a story about that but won't bore you with it.

Went to nearby kia dealer. They have that exact part for $13 tax included. With shipping, the online one would've been same price... lol

Now my cargo cover can handle more weight on top. :)

Personally, I never put anything ON the cargo cover heavier than a tee shirt. If you have ever had to make a "panic stop", you know why.

That cargo cover is definitely not load-bearing. Might be how the one side got broken in the first place.

I believe it's Kia (81732-1K000)

the exploded view looks like that is the hanger point but the part number doesn't match the bag part number. I learned recently that an exact part in the parts search database may not be the specific one for a model year. minor production changes happen all the time.

The part numbers do match

it replaces the bagged part number. that's good information gathering. I am impressed.
