For me personally it's the appearance of the car combined with it's performance. next is the ability to tune it easily. everything else is secondary to me. the luxury amenities aren't that big a deal to me. same with versatility. i don't have a big family and i don't go on vacations so i don't care about how roomy the hatch is. i'm not concerned about gas mileage because i don't think it'll be anything crazy expensive.

Looks (Outside + Inside), power and cooled seats combined with that Price

For me it was the looks inside & out, all the goodies it came with & the bonus was the drive train, overall a complete package & I love it.

My wife and I talked about getting me a new car because my prior car was purchased when i was single. A Scion tC doesnt work well with a family (me, her, 1 kid, and another soon) We talked a lot and ive always dreamed of owning a Subaru WRX STI. When shopping became serious we took a car seat with us and found the STI inside was just to small for everyone to sit comfortably. We sat down and talked again, she knew i wanted the STI and if i wanted to buy it, i could but i knew she wouldnt be as happy.

So i started to look for "sporty" 4 doors. We both REALLY liked the new Honda Accord touring trim. It had everything and was priced below 40k for the top trim. It drove well and had more visability than i had ever imagined from a car. Then i made the mistake of checking out this new "stinger" car. I test drove it alone and fell inlove with it. I took my wife and son to the dealership and we all drove it with his booster in the back. Looking at the excitement on my sons face after the 2nd launch control and hearing him talk about this racecar he was in, I basically knew we found my next car. My wife didnt care one way or the other, but she loved how happy I was.

The way the car looks, drives, feels, sounds. Its just perfect.

A uncompromise genuine "alternative", the fine selection of very credible professionals with experience among the best in the world in developing the Stinger. The global track record of KIA in the pass years and my real life ownership experience with other KIA model have given me the confidence of parting my hard earn money for the Stinger.

In contrary the impressive global reviews and also the popularity and involvement of a fantastic forum further enhances and endorse the experience of ownership.

We finally have a genuine alternative to the common big luxury brand in looking for a enthusiasts performance sedan! Keep it up and well done!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Styling is similar to other sedans in its class, but the entire car is unique. I have not yet seen another one on the road here in the MidWest in 4 months of ownership. It draws stares and thumbs-up. And, yeah, it's fun to drive and practical.

Styling, power, unique factor, and for the wife the trunk space. I was 99% sure I had to get a SUV to keep her happy, until she saw the hatch on this.

Albert Biermann. I knew the car was green lighted for production and I truly hoped they would give it some go th match the show. When I heard it was being tested on the Nurburgring and that Albert was engineering the chassis and ride and handling, I knew it was going to be something special. After driving the base GT, I was hooked! I loved the way it was setup, still have yet to drive a GT2 which is what I want to get. Still have a few more months to go before this can happen.

"Value"

I was close to buying a MUCH more expensive Merc or BMW until I learned the Stinger was coming. One thing that irritated me was you still had to pay extra for the better performance parts on those, which are mostly included on the GT2.

Value, I guess? But way more than that. I was looking for something to replace my old 240hp Fusion that was starting to develop transmission issues. Something that looked good, and something that I could justify buying. I wanted an upscale, pretty, sporty, RWD that could fit the kids and be reasonably practical. The options were checked out, and I wasn't willing to pull the trigger on them. I'm at a point in my life where I -could- afford the Audi or BMW or (almost the) Benz, but it would be a significant budget item, and I couldn't justify it.

So I lowered my expectations. I would end up with another mid to high 200hp front wheel drive car. I was considering the Ford Fusion, the Buick Regal, or the Nissan Altima/Maxima. None particularly exciting, and all in the mid 30-40k range if you want to break into 300hp. Bleh.

Enter the Kia Stinger. Rave reviews from everyone, the power and sportiness that I wanted, and at a price similar to what I was considering for the dime-a-dozen models. The trim levels worked in my favor too. I didn't care about the electronic suspension, the sun roof, or the smart driving features. I just wanted the V6, touch screen, 19" wheels, Android Auto, and the nice looking leather interior. After being used to the engine options being tied to the unnecessary features, I was stoked!

I pulled the trigger earlier than I had planned because of FOMO on the lease incentives, and I couldn't be happier. I ended up with a car that was on par with my 'Wife will divorce me if I spend this much' choices, and brought it all in for the cost of the boring alternatives!

Its an odd ball! I love odd ball cars. Have owned an odd ball car of one kind or another for decades. I may be one of few who thinks Stinger styling is well ...quirky. It looks like a couple cars joined together ...sort of like my old Porsche 914 but in less angular way. Stingers design elements dont flow however it sort of works together like some stylistic mad scientist experiment. Its one of those cars if I look at certain angle its a beauty ...but then I look at other bits and think hmmm. Not ugly but enticingly weird? On inside same thing as my old Faithful Porsche/VW 914/6. Some really nice quality design but then some cheap pieces from economy cars. Stinger is one of those quirky cars that just doesnt hit it out of the park with masses but to educated enthusiast who appreciate out of ordinary cars it has a certain attraction. Plus love going to Porsche club AX and beating Porsches in the Kia. Oh the insult.

Here are some of my other favorite odd ball cars - Not my cars but I had 914/6 like yellow one but in Olympic blue and Had Green Hillman Imp. Dreamed of owning a Gremlin for years but never found one I wanted with V8.

I wanted something fast but practical. There were certain features I wasn't willing to go without (Android Auto, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist).

Then I saw the Stinger, loved the looks, and it was thousands less than other cars I was considering.

Looks, performance, interior, value, warranty..this car covers them all.

My Stinger came on to me.... I figured that I’d give her a whirl, as she was so persistent and very confident. I knew I loved her on that first date.

Did you respect her in the morning after? Lol

The entire car I like. I had owed alot of cars in my life, but this car is pretty wicked.

That it's mine!! :laugh:

In this order;

1. Styling, I like it! << (love it) :geek:
2. Power, it has the exact "go" I need! << (and then some) :)
3. Interior look/feel, I feel like I'm a solid badazz when I'm sitting behind the wheel! << (I'm no badazz, but I feel like one) :cool:
4. The stares, oh the stares! << (I sometimes get weirded out by them, but then I remember I look like a badazz...so I'm good with that) :alien: :cool:

Finally;

5. The fact that it's not a BMW or a Mercedes or an Audi! << (Those ARE nice cars, but I just had to have something on par...but differently better) :thumbup:
