What laptop does everyone go to for tuning needs ? Easy to use, easy to upload tunes to. I'm going to be looking into getting either a jb4 or lap3 tuner for my Stinger GT1 3.3 AWD. Also not trying to break the bank on a laptop. Also not looking for something so small I can't look at graphs/tunes. I know everyone has preferences. Trying to gat an idea. That's all.

If you go the JB4 route, I’d just get the optional Bluetooth adapter and mobile app from Burger which are about $180 combined…heck of a lot cheaper than a new PC. I have the JB4 and it’s all pretty seamless. App also allows you to view stats in real time and change maps/settings on the fly.

As for a PC that can handle tuning for something like Lap3, just about any PC that can just power on will be able to handle off-the-shelf tuning software. I don’t have experience with Lap3, but I had a Unitronic tune on my old GTI and just used my wife’s 5 y/o base model HP Pavilion with like 4 GB of RAM and a dual core processor. Downloading a tune isn’t a particularly taxing thing for 99% of computers out there these days. I wouldn’t overthink it.

N/A.
Either you go with a piggyback (e.g. jb4) in which case you just use your phone, or you ship the ECU off to a shop who has to crack the lid and jumper straight onto the EEROM. There is no at-home tuning like other platforms.
There's no real point in "look at graphs/tunes" with the piggyback while in the car.

Just buy an ecu tune (comes on spare ecu) along with a tcu tune and run 11s all day. Add the meth kit and you will be knocking on 10s doors. No need to screw around with laptops/computers..

We have laptop software for the JB4 but everyone uses the phone app. Much easier and lets you do all the same stuff!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Dang...laptop is so fast and furious days lol.
